Marcus is very friendly and nice. When we had questions, Marcus always helped us. We appreciated his help and his apartment, we had a wonderful time in Chicago.
Marcus was such a welcoming host and we enjoyed our stay. He met us when we arrived and showed us in. The apartment was cozy and convenient and with free wi-fi and parking it is such a great value. The location can't be beat and Marcus helped us find restaurants, groceries, etc. I don't know how soon we will return to Chicago, but when we do, we would love to stay with Marcus again.
The apartment is located in a great place. Many major attractions are in the area – we walked to Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park, Navy Pier and the John Hancock Tower. Waking up to a great view of Lake Michigan is another bonus.
Marcus is an extremely nice and accommodating host – we faced some problems with our travel itinerary that affected our accommodations, but he went out of his way to arrange things for us so we were not stranded for a winter night in Chicago(!). For this alone, I would recommend booking with him for the peace of mind, knowing that you’ll be in good hands with him.
Our host Marcus was a gentleman that went out of his way to settle us in quickly and made us feel at home. The apartment was large, clean and well appointed with a superb view of the lake and some of the city. As soon as we arrived, Marcus met with us and stored our bags as we arrived early in the day. He then showed us around the complex and walked us over to the "Water Tank" shopping complex to get us started. We would highly recommend this as a great place to stay.
Marcus met us on arrival and showed us where to park the car, which was very helpful. The apartment was exactly as described, and, yes the view really is that spectacular. Just be aware it's a center city studio apartment; it doesn't have a lot of space. The location is within an easy walk of most north-of-the-river attractions and a longer but scenic walk of Loop attractions. We found cabs easily when we needed them. The inflatable bed for a third guest was easy to figure out and comfortable. If you want to take advantage of the kitchen, there is a good grocery store right across the street.
