Interaction with Guests

I enjoy greeting my guest & introducing myself upon arrival This give me the opportunity to show them around & let them know how everything works.
I am happy to provide suggestions for restaurants, tours & events & make reservations. I also enjoy providing a mini introduction tour of the downtown area for guests who are not familiar with Napa if time permits. Your area is private but I am always available to answer questions.

The Neighborhood

Comfortable eclectic neighborhood that is very safe for walking day or evening.

For those of you who are driving, I am just minutes to downtown & Hwy 29, 7 minutes to the Silverado Trail. You can also walk to downtown, about 12-15 minutes If returning by cab it is about $10.00.
For those of you without a car I am 2 blocks to public transportation. The"Vine" is a great way to get around to see the Valley as it stops in Yountville, St Helena & Calistoga. The Wine Train is another way to see the Valley.

  • Pamela was great. My husband and I came to visit over 4th of July weekend - she had prepared a list of 4th activities going on around town and was very helpful. Nice as she could be.

  • My husband, Chris, and I went to Napa for my honeymoon and greatly enjoyed staying with Pamela for 4 days/nights. She was wonderful, providing helpful tips about places to eat and visit in Napa. She also typed up and printed out a list of things to do in San Francisco, which was the second stage of our vacation (which she did not have to do). Her house was charming and very cozy and in a great location for getting to the Silverado Trail to see the wineries as well as to Main Street where are the great shops and restaurants are located. She was incredibly sweet and gave us our privacy when we needed it, but was there to answer questions and just talk when we wanted to. I would definitely stay there again the next time we are out!

  • My husband & I had a wonderful experience staying at Pamela's. The photographs here give an accurate picture of how it looks. Nestled in a peaceful, residential neighborhood - this suite is a 10 min drive to downtown Napa, Oxbow Market & is conveniently located for those who want to experience the best of downtown Napa along with their winery trips.
Pamela is well-travelled and an interesting person to talk to. P.S. She has an adorable cat - who you will see around if you're lucky :)

  • We had a very nice two-night stay in Napa at Pamela's. On our night of arrival she showed us around in downtown which helped us later on to get around! The room was clean and comfy, and the breakfast fresh. As for the location, we walked to downtown in ca. 20 minutes. A Safeway was just couple of blocks away.

    Really enjoyed our stay, recommendations!!!

  • Pamela makes Airbnb look good! {Not everyone does} Pamela generously got me at Evans and showed me the neighborhood by car. Organized, generous, communicative and light handed, I starting with her each visit back. Seriously, her granola's that good.

  • Pamela is an incredible hostess, thinking of every possible thing that might make your stay fun, easy, informative and comfortable. The room is perfect, the bathroom well stocked and efficient, and the little deck and French doors make for a lovely experience, for breakfast and really, for any time of day or night. Close to downtown, the neighborhood is quiet and comfortable and the location, easy to get to and from!

    Thanks you, Pam!

Hi Mary, Good idea. I'll take care of that..

  • Pamela was great. She explained everything and put out breakfast early morning. She was so quiet, she could have been a little mouse. I felt like I was alone in her home.

  • This was a great stay with Pamela. She has thought of everything and includes a delicious home made granola with fruit and yoghurt for breakfast. The location is perfect, just a mile from downtown but also quiet and peaceful at night. Pamela even gave us a ride to our destination on the first day. All in all, just perfect!

  • This place had everything! Quiet neighborhood that is centrally located, peaceful surroundings, private deck, super comfortable bed, yummy breakfast and a very hospitable hostess. Pamela is delightful - happy to share her expertise of the area and so nice to chat with but she always gave us our utmost privacy. She even let us use her stove every morning to brew our coffee!

A stay in her cozy cottage will enhance anyone's visit to the Napa region.

About
I've been enjoying life in the Napa Valley for about 14 years and continue to explore this beautiful area and visit amazing restaurants and wineries. Originally from San Francisco I return frequently to wander the great neighborhoods, visit museums and shop. I find meeting new people and exchanging stories and ideas is great fun. My passion is travel & history. I have spent a great deal of time along the French Riviera & throughout Provence. I also love gardening, a good mystery novel and of course I always enjoy sharing great food and wine with friends.
