We stayed with Pamela from July 25-27 for a weekend Napa getaway. Pamela was very easy to stay with. Before we arrived she reached out to us by phone making sure that we did not have any questions or specific needs. When we arrived she greeted us and gave us a tour. She offered recommendations on where to go for dinner and various wineries. Later that evening when we came back we noticed that Pamela had left us her to die for homemade granola, bananas and yogurt for breakfast in the morning.
We would definitely like to stay here again. The space is very nice and private, Pamela is a great host and the location is perfect.
Pamela is a lovely host and her house is a great jumping off point for all of Napa. She welcomed me into her charming home with open arms, toured me around the town of Napa and hosted me for dinner.
Pamela, made us feel welcome with yogurt, fresh fruit and killer homemade granola. We loved the private deck and quiet neighborhood.
Pamela was very welcoming and sweet. She provided informative sheet on what to do in napa and best wineries to visit before we reached Napa. Daily breakfast, which included homemade granola, was a very nice gesture.
We had a great experience staying at Pamela's. The neighborhood is delightful - very quiet & walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in downtown Napa. We sat on our little patio each night and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Pamela met with us on arrival and took great care of us. If we needed a suggestion for dinner or things to do, she was very helpful. She also assisted us with the best route (with the least traffic) to get back to San Francisco and to our returning flight on time. Her breakfast are delicious and with the coffee and water set up for us, we had all we needed and more than would be offered at a local hotel. It was perfect for us and we couldn't have asked for more.
Pamela was an incredibly welcoming host. She was flexible in our arrival time after we altered our plans at the last minute and still made time to sit with us and go over the accommodations and answer any questions we had about the area.
The location of the property is excellent and is within walking distance of downtown Napa ( 1 mile) and all the local restaurants, shops and markets.
The unit was very clean and comfortable and particularly private. There is a separate private entrance on the side of the house that allowed us to come and go as we pleased without feeling like we were in someone else's home.
Pamela has thought of all the details by providing a small refrigerator (stocked with water), iron and ironing board, wireless internet instructions and channel guide for the TV (all the stuff I usually have to call the front desk for at a hotel).
To top it all off, Pamela provided a small breakfast each morning and the homemade granola was excellent.
We would highly recommend a stay at Pamela's lovely home!
About the Host, Pamela
I've been enjoying life in the Napa Valley for about 14 years and continue to explore this beautiful area and visit amazing restaurants and wineries. Originally from San Francisco I return frequently to wander the great neighborhoods, visit museums and shop. I find meeting new people and exchanging stories and ideas is great fun. My passion is travel & history. I have spent a great deal of time along the French Riviera & throughout Provence. I also love gardening, a good mystery novel and of course I always enjoy sharing great food and wine with friends.
