Interaction with Guests
I enjoy greeting my guest & introducing myself upon arrival This give me the opportunity to show them around & let them know how everything works.
I am happy to provide suggestions for restaurants, tours & events & make reservations. I also enjoy providing a mini introduction tour of the downtown area for guests who are not familiar with Napa if time permits. Your area is private but I am always available to answer questions.
Comfortable eclectic neighborhood that is very safe for walking day or evening.
For those of you who are driving, I am just minutes to downtown & Hwy 29, 7 minutes to the Silverado Trail. You can also walk to downtown, about 15 minutes If returning by cab it is about $10.00.
For those of you without a car I am 2 blocks to public transportation. The"Vine" is a great way to get around to see the Valley as it stops in Yountville, St Helena & Calistoga. The Wine Train is another way to see the Valley.
Other Things to Note
I love hosting Air BnB guests. It has been interesting & a true pleasure meeting wonderful people from all over the world.
Please respect hours between 10 PM to 9AM in keeping with the neighborhood.
Please park in front of my home only.
Absolutely no smoking in the room or on the premises. I have a large overly friendly cat that believes that all visitors are here just to see her. A gate across the deck stairs is provided to insure you a fur free environment.
Pamela was a wonderful host and helped with winery and restaurant recommendations to experience our Napa visit.
Her home is in the historic older neighborhood of Napa. We walked in to the downtown restaurant area both nights and it might be a long walk for some people but for us it was a delightful walk to work off the fabulous food we ate.
Pamela surprised us with a mini frig to keep our wine cool and supplied a much unexpected homemade granola and yogurt for breakfast. Much appreciated! Thank you Pamela
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Pamela's Napa home. A 15 minute stroll to downtown Napa was a perfect distance to walk off a meal. Pamela's room was quite and comfortable. Would recommend for a short visit and as a launching pad while touring Napa.
Our experience was excellent! The room was very charming and Pamela was very conscious of what we may need, hence, very cooperative
The morning breakfast croissants were awesome ... Amongst the best we have had and the private entry to the room was a plus which allowed us to come back at a time convenient to us without worrying about disturbing anyone ...
First time airbnb, new experience for me and my girlfriend. The room is intentionally separated from other rooms, only accessed from patio, which is good for privacy. The room has what a hotel room has, maybe lack of standard cleaning procedures a hotel does. We did find some glasses are dirty, and the floor is a little dusty, if I only wear white socks, they will turn black quickly. The slippers I brought helped a lot. But airbnb meant to offer a different experience from a hotel stay.
The owner is very friendly and helpful (gave us good suggestions of tour on the first day), and also quite responsive to our requests here and there. Nice patio, but we didn't have much time enjoying it during the stay.
Hi Joey, So Sorry for any inconvenience. Housekeeping is always done day prior to or the day of guest arrival. I do leave the French doors open during the day weather permitting so that possibly generated a little dust and/or pollen in the room. Sorry we missed the mark as I do take pride in presenting a perfect experience for my guests.
We had a wonderful experience staying here and Pamela was lovely and very accommodating. The location was perfect and the suite was exactly how it was described: charming. We couldn't have asked for a better Airbnb first time experience. Thank you!
Pamela is a fantastic host providing a nice breakfast each morning and a great little place to stay. Her rental is very reasonably priced considering how close you are to downtown. Would definitely stay here again.
Pamela was so kind and accommodating! She offered gluten-free breakfast options for my girlfriend, and was very communicative about everything in the house and around Napa. Even though we didn't interact with her too much in person, everything was just as we expected and even better! Would definitely recommend.
I've been enjoying life in the Napa Valley for about 14 years and continue to explore this beautiful area and visit amazing restaurants and wineries. Originally from San Francisco I return frequently to wander the great neighborhoods, visit museums and shop. I find meeting new people and exchanging stories and ideas is great fun. My passion is travel & history. I have spent a great deal of time along the French Riviera & throughout Provence. I also love gardening, a good mystery novel and of course I always enjoy sharing great food and wine with friends.
