We stayed in Rosie for a couple of nights over years eve and had the best time ever! He has created a quirky and fun place to stay in a lovely part of cornwall. We will be back for sure!
Wow. What an amazing experience we had staying in Rosie. The whole thing was perfect. Everything has been thought of, fresh towels, toiletries, fresh linen and even fire wood for the campfire and wood burner. The staff were very helpful. Had one of the most magical nights I've ever had, star gazing, toasting marshmallows and looking out to sea. Very quirky and very romantic. Thank you so much
My partner and I came to stay in Rosie for a couple of nights away from it all. What a wonderful and different experience! It didn't take us long to immerse ourselves in the absolute tranquility of this place and we wished we could have stayed longer!
Rosie was comfortable and so romantic and we were surprised to find how well equipped the extra caravan was- even with a cafetiere which I had forgotten at home :-)
We thoroughly enjoyed the walk to Porthallow beach- just as described in the previous comments and 'Fat Apples'- what can I say. We thought we were lost when we stumbled across it- a cafe in the middle of nowhere, with the best eggs ever!
If you're looking to turn down the volume of the world and reconnect with nature, I'd definitely recommend staying at one of Jonathon's hideaways- we are definitely looking to come back!
A lovely magical night away in a beautiful part of The Lizard. The caravan is comfortable and well equipped, and the horse box shower, lit by a candle lantern was an experience not to be missed!
It was wonderful waking up in a cozy bed and yet basking in the elements. Half asleep watching blackbirds seeking out their early breakfasts and listening to the breathing and shuffling of close by cows. Bliss. Rosie was a tonic. Thank you.
Rosie the Gypsy Wagon was an amazing experience! Everyone should sleep in a Gypsy wagon at least once in life. I did not meet Jonathan, but I did meet a couple of their interns who help keep the property lovely and welcome guests! One of them, Britt, happened to be from our hometown of Austin! What are the chances!? The directions he sent were perfect. We drove straight there. Whatever you do, don't miss the enchanted walk to the beach and breakfast at Fat Apples!

I live on the Lizard peninsular, as I find this area one of the most inspirational in the UK. I am an artist/builder who creates spaces of light and beauty. My aim is to welcome you into a dwelling for your pleasure and relaxation. I enjoy using ideas of times passed and endeavor to achieve an ‘other worldliness’ in my work.
I spend my time in constant contemplation of the next project in mind. Other than that you can find me enjoying music and dance, or Cornish coastal walking with my partner and dog.
