It was really great to sleep in the volcano suite. Superbig very clean room with spa like bathroom! Supercomfortable bed (really!). Supergorgeous view on the ocean and sunset if the weather allows it. Brian and Holly were very fast in accepting the booking and communicating. If the budget allows it, it's a great place to stay.
We had only one night to spend on Kona side of the Island but this place is a home away from home. Nice breakfast in the morning and we actually went out to enjoy the local scene just down the street the night we checked in with Brian and Holly and friends. We had just a small hitch with the room that was beyond anyone's control but our hosts more than made up for it and accommodated us. Nice, big king bed and jacuzzi tub! Would recommend to anyone who wants to snorkel at the Refuge since it is close by. Aloha!
Brian and Holly were delightful hosts. We aarived after a long day of travelling around the big island and they welcomed us to join them and the other guests for dinner and gave recommendations for where we could get food to bring back to the house. We were also lucky enough to be there during the Academy Awards, so they decided to have an Oscar Party at the house, which made the whole stay feel a bit more like home.
Our room, the Volcano Suite, was a real treat. The room featured beautiful views of the coast and lovely accommodations, which were far nicer than you might expect at a 4-star hotel. The following morning Holly made a wonderful breakfast for all of the guests.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and the accommodations are superb. We would come back in a heartbeat and have already recommended their place to others.
We stayed in Holly and Brians B&B for seven nights and everything was more than perfect! The room very comfortable and the breakfast really delicious! We felt like home and it was a little bit hard to leave.... Thank you very much Brian and Holly!! All the best for you!!
And.... be prepared! We might be back!! :-)
Brian & Holly were cheerful and kind hosts. The Volcano suite was great, exactly as described, very clean, and had a huge private bathroom with a jacuzzi. Holly cooked a lovely breakfast with an amazing papaya/honey butter -- the other guests were great people as well. Mahalo!
This was a great place to stay for the last few days of our vacation! The room was super comfortable with an amazing view, and Brian & Holly were perfect hosts! Breakfast was delicious, and they gave us great tips for activities - they even lent us some snorkel & boogie board gear. We loved being south of Kona, close to some especially amazing beaches - they helped us find some great spots!
My parents and I were visiting the big island for only one day and our schedule were very tight. When we checked into the room, we were surprised. It's very well furnished and clean. I also had a very nice beer talk with Brian and they are extremely friendly. Really wish I could stay there longer.
