There are no precise rules than those of normal and healthy living in a city where the contact with the neighbors is very near. We asks our guests to have an appropriate behavior and to respect the hours of silence: From 13:00 to 15:00 and after 22:00.
The only rule of note in the disposal of waste, which must take place between 06:00 and 08:00 in the morning (the bags should be closed down on the side out of the door). Collection is carried out according to the a schedule.
Everything about this flat is great -- it is light, spacious, quiet, well-equipped and well-located. Laura met us at the boat and led us just 5 short minutes to the flat, gave us a map and some recommendations. In the same block are several restaurants, a vegetable market, grocery coop and cafe with wonderful gelato, all of which we enjoyed. We definitely would stay here again and recommend it to all.
We were met by Laura at the ferry stop who took us to the apartment and gave us a run down on the place and local amenities. She gave us a map with various restaurants and sights marked. Having someone with local knowledge to meet us and advise us on good things to do or see was very helpful. The apartment was lovely and a great little oasis to return to after a day walking about Venice. In the square nearby there is a supermarket, bakery and several restaurants so everything you need.
Excellent location, lovely apartment and friendly, helpful advice from our host. Thank you so much for helping make our stay in Venice so memorable!
wir haben eine wunderschoene Zeit in dieser
grossen, gemuetlichen Wohnung verbracht.
Nach unserem Geschmack war alles da, was man braucht! Rosanna ist eine sehr nette
hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Die Wohnung liegt
etwas abseits vom Touristengewuehl, was sehr angenehm ist. So, nun genug der Schwaermerei, wir haben schon gleich wieder fuer das naechste Jahr gebucht!!!

We absolutely loved this apartment. We have friends who are visiting later this year and we are insisting they stay here. It is exactly as it looks in the pictures but feels even more inviting when you arrive. The bed is comfortable, the couch is so comfortable you almost fall asleep as soon as you sit down, and the balcony/patio is fabulous - as is the sweet older couple who lives across the way. Rosanna and her sister were amazing hosts. They met us at the boat stop (even with our relatively late arrival) and gave us some wonderful recommendations that made the trip even better than planned (like showing us where the Jewish Quarter was and recommending a day trip to Burano). They were even kind enough to make up two beds for our friends who were joining us for the last night of our visit (but ended up getting stuck with a flight delay until the next morning). The location of the apartment is wonderful. The neighborhood is very local, away from all the touristy things but a quick walk to see them. The restaurants were great and it was fun to watch the kids (and adults) play in the plaza. The only thing is that there was not much hot water, but we've grown accustomed to that while living in Europe and expect it is an issue most places on the islands. We would absolutely recommend (and have already recommended to friends) staying here!
