Wake up to the sound of waves and a breathtaking view, facing straight out towards the North Sea.
It is a modern house, located in a newly developed residential area on the west coast of Norway, close to Stavanger. It is a unique location, and the use of large windows that goes from the floor to the ceiling, gives you the same amazing view, regardless of whether you enjoy your breakfast in the kitchen, relax in the living room, or enjoy a cold drink on the terrace. On a nice sunny day, you can enjoy the sun throughout the day, until it sets in the sea just in front of the house.
The house has only been inhabited since March 2013 and has all the facilities you may expect from a modern house. A fully equipped kitchen, relaxed and comfortable living room, floor heating in all rooms, high speed internet access and comfortable beds.
2 private rooms with double beds
The nearby area will give you peace in mind and is great for a walk along the shore. The historical harbour in Tananger may also be worth a visit and is only about a 15 minutes walk away.
Furthermore, the location is a great starting point for exploring the area and is only about a 20 minutes drive from Stavanger with all its amenities. The numerous white sandy beaches (i.e. Solastranden, Borestranden and Hellestøstranden) are a popular recreation area all year round, even though swimming season is terribly short.
Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen) has been listed as one of the world’s most spectacular views by Lonely planet and is definitely worth a visit. Perhaps equally spectacular is Kjerag, rising about 1000 meters above the Lysefjord. In general, the numerous fjords, mountains and vantage points in the area, provide endless possibilities for exploration and we are more than happy to give you some advice to make your stay a memorable experience!
Public transport is only a few minutes walk away, and depending on which way you go, you can take the bus to both Stavanger and Sandnes/Forus. Conveniently enough, the bus to Sandnes also stops at the airport and shouldn’t take much longer than approximately 15 minutes.
Regardless of whether you are on holidays or work/business, we are very much looking forward to having you as a guest in our house and hope you will enjoy you stay, as much as we enjoy living here!

A fantastic house in a beautiful spot. Not too remote, with other houses nearby and a short drive from shops. However the view across the water is lively, and a 5min walk right from the front door takes you down the rocky waters edge. Eirik and Teagan are great hosts, with lots of local info and pointers and great communication.
Casa muy recomendable, buena localización, excelentes vistas y magnífico trato y atención por parte de Eirik y Tegan. Muchas gracias por vuestra atención y por supuesto recomendamos vuestra casa a todos los usuarios de Airbnb. Gracias.
I had booked Eirik and Tegan's house as an alternative for booking a hotel for a business trip to Stavanger. This was definitely the right decision. Not only was the house a great base for us with all it amenities and the exceptional view but staying in a house made it much more relaxing for my colleagues and I to have good social & work time together as we do not meet that often as we came from three different countries. This would be more difficult if you are living in a hotel.
The house has all what you need for stay whether it is short or long. it is close enough to Stavanger so you can commute to Stavanger. The view over the water is nothing short of being great, if the weather is good then it is a really treat to go out on the deck and take time breath in.
The binder with inforamtion on their house with maps of the house location etc. and other information is a great touch of detail that shows the steps taken to welcome you.
Eirik and Tegan are great host, very responsive and I can warmly recommend Eirik and Tegan's house it is great and they are good hosts.
I will definitely have their house high on my list for another trip to Stavanger.
The view!! I'm pretty certain I'd be a better person if only I could wake up to the sound of waves every day .. The house is nice, tidy and the kitchen well equipped. The hosts are professional and easy to communicate with. We didn't meet in person, as they were out travelling, but Eirik's parents took very well care of us. I was particularly impressed when they showed up at the door on Saturday evening with a hand blender, just a couple of minutes after I had texted them to ask whether there was one we could use in the house. Thank you!
We had a wonderful time in Eirik and Tegans beautiful house. We were really lucky with the weather and could fully enjoy the huge terrace. The house has an incredible view and the house itself is perfect in every way. Eirik and Tegan are great hosts and very helpful. Thank you very much for sharing this piece of paradise.
