The space
Welcome to "A Step Away," a brand new luxury condo in downtown Holland. Located one block from the main shopping district, this home offers two bedrooms, two full baths, a gym, and private garage parking for two vehicles.
You will be walking distance to Hope College, shops, restaurants, theaters, a cinema, and the new Holland Community Skating Park. It is an ideal location for Hope College events, in town on business at one of West Michigan’s several corporate headquarters, or simply here to enjoy everything that West Michigan has to offer. Kollen Park is about one mile away and Holland State Park and Lake Michigan are about six miles away.
The 1700 square foot home features upgraded finishes, an eat-in kitchen with island, high end appliances, a beverage nook, dining for eight, and a laundry room with utility sink. The primary suite includes a king bed, settee, large desk, en suite bath, walk-in closet, and direct access to the terrace. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin sofa bed and sits next to a full bath with a spacious spa-style shower.
The living room opens to a west facing terrace with generous seating, a propane firepit, sunset views, and a peek of Lake Macatawa. Fireworks over the lake can often be enjoyed from the terrace.
All “A Step Away” guests are invited to visit our Kindel & Company retail stores in downtown Saugatuck at 241 Culver Street and downtown Holland at 14 W. 8th Street. Stop in for local tips, restaurant recommendations, shopping suggestions, or just to say hello. We like to call it our “lite” concierge service. A Step Away guests also receive an exclusive in-store discount at both locations.
Whether you are visiting for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, this home offers comfort, style, and convenience in the center of it all.
Guest access
Guests may enter the building through the front door using an access code. From there, the elevator is accessed by code. Once on the correct floor, guests can walk to the entrance of "A Step Away" and enter the home using a private access code.
If driving, guests will arrive on a side street and enter the residents garage using the provided code. From the garage, the elevator is accessed with the elevator code. Parking is allowed in the assigned spaces only.
The building’s gym is accessed by key card. The key card will be left inside the unit for guest use.
All codes and clear step by step instructions will be provided a few days before arrival to ensure a smooth check in experience.

THINGS TO NOTE DURING YOUR STAY
This condo is for your exclusive use. It is located in a luxury residential building in downtown Holland. There are no shared interior spaces other than the secured building common areas such as the lobby, elevator, hallways, gym, and garage.
CLEANLINESS AND CHECK IN
Our homes are cleaned by trusted local professionals with whom we have long standing relationships. Cleaning protocols are reviewed regularly, and we inspect each property often.
Check in is contactless. Before arrival, you will receive a link to our digital Guest eGuide which includes building access instructions, parking details, and helpful information to make the most of your stay.
RESERVATION GUIDELINES
• Enter the correct number of guests when booking.
• The primary renter must be at least 25 years old.
• Parties and events are not permitted.

SALES TAXES
Sales Tax: Michigan’s 6 percent sales and use tax applies to all rates and fees. Airbnb collects and remits this tax automatically.
DURING YOUR STAY
The building’s gym is available for guest use with the key card provided inside the unit. Please return the gym key card to the designated location before checkout.
Light maintenance such as rooftop garden landscaping or window washing may occur during daytime hours, but we will notify you in advance when scheduled.
Bagged household garbage must be disposed of using the trash chute located in the trash room off the hallway (across from your entrance door).
Large items such as broken down cardboard must be taken to the trash bins in the garage near the elevator.
