A magical cottage with a private patio in the heart of the walled old town – seconds away from all the fun, food and shopping and only 10 minutes to the nearest beach, but tucked away on a quiet cobbled street. I bought the cottage as a ruin in 2016 and have lovingly refurbished it using local craftsmen and materials. I hope you enjoy the transformation as much as I do!

Two bed air conditioned house with open plan lounge and dining room, two bedrooms, a bathroom, an extra toilet and utility room and a kitchen. Outside is a terrace with hammock, traditional bbq and a table for 6 people. Leading off the terrace is an outside lounge area with sofa and fan... perfect for whiling away lazy mornings and evenings

Other things to note
Please note I will ask you to provide passport or id details for every guest within 3 days of checkin. This is due to government regulation and applies to all guest accommodation in Portugal.

The house is in the centre of the town so although very quiet at night there is occasional noise during the day and church bells from 9am until 9pm. If daytime noise bothers you please don't book.

We do accept a maximum of 2 well behaved dogs but please note the patio is small for large dogs.

I can't think of anything I don't love about Lagos - it has so many fun things to do and see and eat but is unspoilt and friendly and relaxed in true Portuguese style. The house is on a traditional street so the only regular noise is church bells during daylight hours, but it's just a 2 minute walk from the shops, restaurants and nightlife in the centre of town and 10 minutes from the nearest beach.
