Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Brennan and Rik's apt was in a perfect location to enjoy Brooklyn and Manhattan. There were a few little issues, however, Brennan sorted them out promptly and we had an enjoyable stay.

  • This was our first air b n b experience and it couldn't have been better. We had a great stay in this funky apartment in park slope! There was plenty of space for 4 of us ( including 2 toddlers). We had a blast walking to various parks and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

  • The listing description is accurate. The apartment is a very nice place to stay in the Park Slope area.

  • My husband and I stayed at the apartment with our dog for 10 days. The place was clean, and comfy and Park slope is beautiful. The apt is perfectly located on a very quiet street near all the shopping and restaurants. Very close to prospect park and near the subway. The apartment itself was also great! We actually found it to be larger than what the pictures show. Brennan was very easy to get in touch with. She left the keys at the deli for us which was very convenient, and at one point we didn't know how to set the temperature on the thermostat so she came over right away to show us. Great stay! Great host!

  • Good location, lots of room, very comfortable. Being right above a deli is both good and bad. Having keys left at the deli means you can arrive as late as midnight the first night, and they can also hold keys for any repairman who is needed. (Brennan is great about repairs.) But there are sometimes people talking on the street late at night, and the bedroom windows are right over the street.

    Response from Brennan & Rik:

This is our first comment on the noise level in the apartment. Usually, people are very happy with how quiet the apartment is by New York standards - no traffic noise, virtually no street noise, and no attached neighbors to make noise. I've spent many nights in the apartment without being disturbed by any talking on the street below, however I understand how any voices at all it might be a new experience to non-native New Yorkers :-). To help guests we provide a fan for white noise and also air conditioning in the summer so windows don't have to be open. Also, the deli closes at midnight. Please let me know if you are considering a reservation and have a question about noise. I'll be happy to respond and help.

  • The reservation was canceled 6 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

  • We had a nice stay at the funky Park Slope. It had everything we needed and nothing more to hang us up. So much better to come back from a day or night in NYC and have a whole apt. to hang out in before bed, or getting up in the morning and sitting around having coffee without going out. thank you david and gayle
