A great apartment in the oldest part of Hafnarfjordur, a beautiful garden and only a few minutes walk to down town Hafnarfjordur where you will find great restaurants and the main bus stops

A nice apartment in the oldest part of Hafnarfjördur, a big bedroom and 2 sofabes in the living room, so total beds for up to 6 people in the apartment . A well equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer Wireless internet and of course the great hot tub. The garden is very natural with the old lava and it is great to sit in the hot tub and enjoy it. There is only 10 minutes walk to the midtown of Hafnarfjördur where you can find nice restaurants and cafe´s, museums and bus station. There is also a very nice swimming pool in the neighborhood. Reykjavik is 20 minutes away with bus. The flybus stop is also about 15 minutes walk away and there is free parking outside.
Hellisgerdi is the oldest park in Hafnarfjordur, a beautiful place only 3 minutes walk away. According to old tales it is the home of elves and fairys,

We don't live in the same house, but very close by so we are very easy to reach if you need us.
Hellisgerdi, the elf park is 2 minutes walk away, and the Sculpture park is also 2 minutes walk away, The Vidistadakirkja church in the park is all painted inside with beautiful frescas and worth seeing. Byggdasafn Hafnarfjardar and other museums in this town are free of charge, and there is a great swimming pool Sudurbæjarlaug 15 minutes walk away with and inside and outside pool, hot tubs and a sauna. Great restaurants for good prices in town, Gamla Vinhusid, and Tilveran for example.
There is also a possibility to have a meal at a home restaurant with my sister, who lives upstairs, if you let us know one day in advance.
A low price supermarket is within walking distance
Free parking right outside the house. The Flybus stops 15 minutes walk away at the Viking Hotel, and the public bus to Reykjavik stops 5 minutes walk away and goes to Reykjavik center every 20 minutes, the ride takes about 15 minutes.
We are not very strict on rules and we want you to feel as at home when you are staying with us, so just treat our home with the same respect as you would treat your own.
