Wow. The Wilcox farmhouse is amazing. It's exactly as depicted in the photos and amenities list and is better than you could imagine. The house is large but still manages to feel really cozy. It has everything you could possible need for a vacation. We were in town for a wedding and the Wilcox farm was perfect for our group of friends. The farm is close to everything but is private and rural. Mary, Andrew's mother, was such a gracious host and left us blueberry muffins, wine, and snacks. This was completely unexpected and was such a lovely treat! Communication and coordination with Andrew and Mary was pleasant and easy. The land the farmhouse is on is beautiful and is so quiet. We spent all of our down time sitting on the screened in porch or sitting outside drinking coffee. The animals on the farm are really cute! They have alpacas, sheep, and a donkey named T-Bone! I highly recommend this lovely home to families, friends getting away from the city, or anyone who wants to get away for a few days or a few weeks. We had such a wonderful time that all we can think about back at work today is how we would love to be back on the Wilcox farm. Thank you, Andrew and Mary! We hope to be back again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. The host was very accommodating and the atmosphere was wonderful. With the ability for our family to spread out and enjoy the entire farm, we were very relaxed and thankful for our time there. The apple spice muffins were a wonderful surprise upon our arrival and the animals were a wonderful entertainment opportunity for our kids to play with and pet. Thank you for a wonderful time !
We just got married and were looking for a home that could accommodate our friends and family visiting before and after the celebration, this house was perfect! There was ample parking and the house is beautiful!
Visited late July. Great place, plenty of room, very clean. Wonderful farmland scenery. It was a relaxing stay.
The stay at the farmhouse was great! We were welcomed by blueberry muffins and a bottle of wine as well as some new Alpaca's. There are some sheep and a donkey as well. Got to see a groundhog, chipmunk and many different birds during our stay.
The house has three bedrooms that are private and one that is semi-private downstairs. Lots of space and love the chairs outside and the new deck. Great place to relax and view the animals.
This was our second stay here and both times we visited Cooperstown which is about 45 minutes away and an awesome drive. Beautiful country side views and rolling hills.
We would and will stay again if the opportunity arises.
Lovely home. Very clean, nicely decorated. Kitchen well appointed with more than the essential cooking utensils. Refrigerator stocked with breakfast essentials. Peaceful setting. We hope to return again next year and stay an extra day ! A wonderful experience
I have stayed at wonderful homes with Airbnb from California to Montreal but this farm is my favorite! It is difficult to say what my favorite feature is...the beautiful kitchen or the inviting sun porch maybe the donkey and sheep that seemed to enjoy our company or the comfortable beds. It was the perfect place to stay for my nephew's graduation and to have my family join us at the farm to visit and enjoy each other's company. The description of the listing was accurate and Andrew responded to any communication quickly. The farm had everything you could ask for-kitchen staples & dishes, toiletries & hairdryer, and plenty of towels. It was lovely to sit outside on the Adirondack chairs and enjoy the quiet countryside. Check in could not be easier and we appreciated the bottle of wine and homemade bread. You can definitely tell that this family is proud of their farm. Thank you for sharing this special property!
