Thanks for the great stay! The farmhouse was beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The bedrooms were well furnished and comfortable. Andrew was easy to work with during the booking process and was accommodating with our requests for an early check-in. We had a very enjoyable stay - and thanks for the homemade blueberry muffins!!
The Wilcoxes were wonderful hosts. They made sure we had access to the house even though we arrived extremely late for check-in. They even left us muffins, which were much-appreciated after a long day of traveling. The house itself was quiet, comfortable and charming. It was a delightful place to stay, and our only regret was that we did not have time to stay longer and enjoy the beautiful scenery and ambience of the home. If I ever return to Upstate New York, I'm staying at the Woodshill Farmhouse.
Mary and Andrew are fantastic hosts. This was our second time staying at the farm and both times we were made to feel welcome right away with some fresh-baked muffins / bread waiting for us on the kitchen table. Also, because we were staying at the house for our son's graduation from Hamilton College, Mary was kind enough to leave on the counter some "graduation appropriate" decorations and cocktails napkins. So fun! And so very appreciated. The kitchen is a wonderful gathering place with it's large table and great views of the farm.
We added one more night onto our trip it was so fantastic. (See my previous review ...)
This was my first time using the site. To be honest we were a little nerves. But we chose the perfect home to stay at even though we weren't there a lot due to a very rigorous schedule when we were surprise after surprise is what we found. From the delicious muffins to the cute animals and so much more but no spoilers. Over all just an amazing home that you can tell has a lot of history and is well taken care of and definitely a home anyone should look into visiting.
Andrew made us feel so welcome on this beautiful property. We walked in to fresh muffins and a tastefully decorated farmhouse. I don't know why we didn't expect actual farm animals around the property, but lo and behold there was a flock of sheep just hanging out down the way. It made for a beautiful and peaceful view. The house is exactly as listed - plenty of room for 4 people and extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
