The Farmhouse at Woodshill Homestead is the original site of the Wilcox family estate in the Mohawk Valley, Upstate New York. Locals often identify it as "the big white barn by the pond.” It is a comfortable and relaxing retreat, situated amid 88 acres of field and forest.
Woodshill Homestead is located 10 minutes from Utica, 15 minutes from Hamilton College, and an hour from Old Forge in the Adirondacks.
Among the unique qualities that Woodshill Homestead offers is a 5,000 square foot English style barn -- the perfect space for creatives of all kind to work and find inspiration. New windows look east over the sunrise.
Guests will have access to the entire home, including the fields, forest and pasture. The setting is ideal for sunset strolls and all variety of outdoor activity. The Farmhouse’s newly-renovated interior matches its gorgeous rustic environs with quintessential upstate elegance and comfort.
The Wilcox family lives across the field in a house visible through the kitchen windows. We are kind and helpful but will allow our renters peace and quiet.

We loved every second of our stay at the Woodshill Farmhouse! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen large and very workable, the TV large enough to satisfy my husband and there were plenty of places to park. The house had amenities that we were not even expecting.
We had 8 family members staying at the farmhouse over a period of 5 days and each and every one of us would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Andrew, for sharing your house with us, and thank you, Mary, for the delicious coffee cake. Hope we can stay with you again.
We had a wonderful stay at the Woodshill Farmhouse. The house is very well kept, clean and well-furnished -- every care was taken to ensure the comfort of guests, including fresh flowers in the dining area. The home sits on a quiet road separated from all noise and bustle, affords great privacy, but is also situated in an extremely safe and beautiful area. There is a small bench outside that overlooks an amazing, serene view -- a great place to just sit and relax. The hosts were very, very gracious and welcoming even though we were a bit late -- we were made to feel at ease and at home. Also of note is that they were very responsive and easy to reach. At check-in we were offered a home-made zucchini bread which was just sublime. All six of us enjoyed our stay very much and would happily return at any time. This was hands-down the best AirBnb experience for us yet.
