The Space

The best night’s sleep is on a boat! Enjoy the gentle sounds of the sea: halyards singing in the breeze, a distant fog horn and sea birds calling. Almost taste the aromatic smells of coffee and griddle cakes in the morning or the savory smell of fresh and crispy catch wafting from the restaurants at sundown. Friendly kayakers and paddle boarders drifting by...kitchen, bathroom with shower, living area, desk, salon/wheel house Captain's quarters harbor a cozy and intimate, comfortable sleeping area, double bed with portal views.
This vessel is very loved and very special - rich in her own tales of creative lifestyles. This vessel is one of the first Delta Clippers built. It's a 37' well-equipped houseboat, perfect for the free - spirited. First owners, a retired couple, both were school teachers who set out to travel the small towns and estuaries stretching throughout the Bay Area. Next to be a music studio and school under the following owner, then becoming a creative, peaceful and ultimately rewarding script writing studio for another occupant. Briefly used as a boudoir studio for a well known San Francisco photographer (creating howling steamy harbor excitement). Finally, an earth friendly Floating Salon believed to be the first in the nation (2007-2014). Princeton Waters permitted for lodging (2013-today) is exclusively listed on (website hidden). We would like to share her with you. What ideas can you imagine?

  • Cindy was a very attentive hostess and took great pride in her boat. The setting was unique and provided a first hand look at activities in the harbor and neighboring area. This was a real get-away from the typical hotel experience when traveling. In all, this was fun time and memorable experience.

  • Had a great time in the well-appointed Princeton Waters houseboat!! Stayed for one night, close to the brewery and other food. Cynthia was flexible on meeting time, easy to contact. Loved the welcome bottle of wine and board games! The bed was a tight fit for the 2 of us, but cozy, warm and manageable. Cynthia was very helpful in recommendations for dining and shopping. Would like to stay again! Thanks!

  • My honey and I stayed on Cindy's boat as our first airbnb experience. It was magical. She is a gracious host, so kind and full of radiant energy. She taught us the "ins and outs" of the boat and left a bottle of wine and chocolates for our evening. The energy on the boat is magical. We had the sweetest evening and morning...and loved every minute of our time. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance, and a quiet and peaceful environment to unwind and rest. We're already planning our second trip back! We found our perfect hideaway for weekend trips to HMB. We highly recommend Cindy as a host. You won't be disappointed!

  • This little spot in the bay is gorgeous and super comfortable. Cindy explained the ins and outs of the boat and suggested many nearby restaurants and attractions. You must try the lobster roll at Sam's chowder house, it is out of this world! I would definitely stay again!

Love nature, love this houseboat, traveling and meeting new people. I've always lived near the ocean and share it with guests as often as possible. My husband has made this all possible with his creative abilities to fix and repair living spaces. I look forward to meeting you also. Welcome Aboard! You will enjoy the Coast side and Half Moon Bay!
