The Space

The apartments are located in the heart of the old town, 15 steps from the main street Stradun. The house in which the apartment is located is older than 300 years, while the interior has been recently renovated, modernly equipped and air conditioned.
This apartment has a double bedroom, fully equipped kitchen with dining for 4 people, television and bath with shower. area of approx. 40m2. This is a first floor apartment.

If your looking to stay in the centre of Dubrovnik's Old Town you really can't get more central than this, it's a perfect place to stay for someone wanting to explore the city and everything it has to offer. Old Town has plenty of bars, restaurants and small local shops! There is also a local beach called Ploce.

We own the whole building and have all three apartments listed on Airbnb, but if you want to rent the entire building just let me know. : )

  • Clean and great location. Lenka and her son were very helpful, and gave us some nice and useful tips about the city. We had no issues with the internet. On one occasion, we ran out of hot water but it was generally good. The kitchen only has the basics (pots, pans, plates, etc.). To cook, we needed to pick up our own oil and salt, etc. We didn't have any problems with noise in the neighbourhood, including from the Irish pub during World Cup season.  Definitely recommended.

  • The good:
    - Great location in the heart of the old town.
    - The apartment is in good condition and was very clean.
    - The bar downstairs did not bother us too much, as the windows insulated the noise well.
    - Lenka (the apartment manager) was helpful and was always on time.

    The not-so-good:
    - The apartment feels very small. The listing says 40m2 but that must include the corridor and bathroom.
    - It lacks the feel of a "home" that you often expect with Airbnb. It is clear that it is being rented out full time. It feels like a hotel.
    - Overall, it was very dark. There isn't much light coming in through the windows, which are facing the wall of another building. It felt much darker in real life than it looks in the pictures. The black furniture does not help the case.
    - The wi-fi was non-existent. On the rare occasion that I was able to catch the signal, no traffic actually went through. We mentioned this to Lenka but she simply shrugged.
    - The hot water tank is rather small and there was not always enough water for two people.

    Other:
    - In case you are coming from US and are used to the idea that "1-bedroom" actually means two rooms (living + bedroom), keep in mind this is not the case. 1-bedroom means there is a bedroom and a kitchen (and a bathroom, of course). No other rooms.

  • Lovely flat in the best location possible! We were greeted by Lenka, she was very fantastic! Very helpful and welcoming. Had great time in Dubrovnik!
One thing though, internet/wifi was painfully slow, almost non existant. But we already knew that having read previous reviews. Oh, and a few times we ran out of hot water but taht didn't bother us that much.
    Great stay! Highly recommended!

  • This place is perfect for your stay in Old Town. It's just as advertised, very clean Ksenia was really responsive. My partner and I lost our luggage on our flight over to Zagreb and several days later it arrived to us at this flat, thanks to Lenka, the manager, who answered the call and met the airport people. Her son delivered our bags to the door and saved the day!

  • We stayed in apartment A2 and our relatives stayed in A1. We were met by Lenka (Ksenia was away), who was extremely helpful and friendly. Lenka provided a city map and a place to store our luggage until the apartment was ready. The apartment was spotlessly clean with a comfortable full-size bed, great shower, nice towels and bed linens, air conditioning, modern kitchen, TV, and plenty of space. The apartment appeared to be newly renovated. The location could not be more convenient for seeing Old Town Dubrovnik--just a short walking distance to the main street. If we have a chance to return to Dubrovnik, I would definitely stay here again!

  • Great apartment in the heart of the old town. Super clean. It's a bit noisy because it's so central but we fell asleep without any problems and when I woke briefly at 1.30am it was very quiet outside. I have to mention Lenka the apartment manager who met us to give us the keys and organised our taxi to the airport - so warm, friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

  • Really lovely apartment, great location right in the Old Town off the main street so you don't have to battle the stairs and it's easy to find! The bedroom was nice and roomy.

The apartment manager's son met us at the bus stop at Pile Gate, only took a few minutes to get to the apartment and gave us some recommendations of where to go eat and what to visit. We also saw Lenka the apartment manager a few times who made sure we were ok.

There is noise from the Irish pub but that didn't bother us so much, I imagine it would be worse at the peak of summer. More of an issue is that there is no noise insulation with the apartment above us, so unfortunately we were woken up at 5am with someone stomping around their room!

  • Lenka and her son hosted us at this apartment. The apartment was a fantastic place to base oneself for a trip to Dubrovnik. Clean and modern place. Location in the heart of the Old Town was ideal. When we arrived, Lenka's son walked us through a map of the area, pointing out places of interest and recommending restaurants. We wouldn't have known to explore Lokrum and its salt water lake, or the bar situated on the city walls without his suggestions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
