We're new to airbnb but as keen travellers we would hope to provide a lovely home and place to stay while you explore Dublin. With Peter a Dublin native and Pip from the country we've plenty of recommendations to impart should you want or need them. Otherwise we will provide publications with current listings of things to do in our fair city.
Dundrum is a lovely neighbourhood on the outskirts of Dublin city. The luas, local tram, runs regularly into town, so while providing a quiet oasis from the city centre you are never far from the hustle and bustle. Free parking gives those wanting to explore further and hire a car convenient access to the sea, local mountains and more. There are plenty of local shops and food options close by for the evenings you don't want to venture far.
We're both keen collectors of 'things', from records, to vintage posters and trinkets. The decor and furnishing of apartments is much due to our frequenting of markets, auctions and charity shops. We love old things, and have plenty recommendations should flea market or vintage shopping me on your agenda.
Bedroom, bathroom, living area.

There is a 75 Bus 2 minutes from our doorstep that will take you to the Sea. Meanwhile the green line luas is 5 minutes walk away and will get you into Stephens Green, town centre in 15 mins(runs really regularly, 5-10 mins).

Philippa ja Peter olivat erinomaiset majoittajat. Saimme heiltä paljon tietoa missä kannattaa käydä ja mitä tehdä. He olivat avuliaita ja erittäin mukava pariskunta.Aamupalaa oli tarjolla joka aamu. Heidän kotinsa oli siisti ja persoonallinen kauniilla ja rauhallisella alueella. Voin lämpimästi suositella majoittumista Philippan ja Peterin luona.
Peter and Philippa are a couple very kind, polite and very friendly. I spent the days very peaceful and received total availability to help me and advise me. The house is very pretty and characteristic, full of various vintage items. The house is located between the stops of Dundrum and Balally and very close to Dundrum Town Center. I would highly recommend you to book your accommodation here in Dublin.
Thank you again Peter and Philippa,
Philippa and Peter are very nice host, when we arrived both of them welcomed us, gave us a nice tour helped us with the locality. Philippa is really a person to talk to, She is very nice and knows the place really well. Peter is from Dublin itself so he gave us quality advice about the city. All in all we had a nice time with them. Hope to visit them again soon.
I was there with a friend of me and they were really nice and hospitable with us.
My girlfriend and I stayed with Philippa and Peter while we were flat-hunting in Dublin. Philippa and Peter are insanely nice, very charming and very interesting. We hope to make good friends out of them. Their flat is south of the city, but it is located right on the Luas line, so it's about 15 minutes into town (I don't know how many stops). The room and the bed is very comfortable and their flat is very spacious. They put out a lovely breakfast for us every morning and we were made very welcome and comfortable. I would highly recommend them.
