Being that this apartment is also one of our long term rentals for guests who pass their winter months here, the apartment comes completely furnished and stocked just like your home. The kitchen, with all the extras including tea, coffee, sugar, salt, spices, flour, rice, pasta, olive oil, etc. Dish detergent, sponges, towels, garbage(rubbish) bags, etc. are also all on hand. Stocked with a microwave/grill, coffeemaker, water cooker, ceramic cook-top, pots & pans, cooking utensils and much, much more.
A very luminous living room with a beautiful view, comes equipped with 32" LCD TV, satellite (Astra), a sofa that can be converted into a bed to sleep a third person. You will a small self service bar with a selection of glasses, bottle opener & a corkscrew as well as a assortment of wine and alcohol.
The bathroom comes equipped with shower, washing machine - free of charge and hair dryer and beach towels.
Furnished with 2 single beds, all the linens, blankets & feather beds in the winter, towels, iron & ironing table, clothes hangers, vacuum cleaner and more extras.
We also offer you a tennis court and ping pong table as well as racquets and paddles for beach paddle and a private direct access to the beach .

This apartment is for your private use. You have access to the common areas such as swimming pool, tennis court and ping pong as well as the direct beach access.
Interaction with Guests
I live on site and am available 16/7.
I love to interact with my guests if they wish but am usually too busy to seek out the guest since I manage 10 apartments full time.
What almost all of our guests love is the peace and quiet and that you have 3 beaches to choose from.
A local fisherman sells fresh fish right here on the beach 5 days a week if you get there before 11:30.
Within walking distance you also have a selection of 5 restaurants, 2 mini-markets and 2 car rental agencies.
The bus stop for 24 hour public transport to the rest of the island and a taxi stand are only 2 minutes away.
This beautiful and quiet village of Playa del Aguila is only 5 minutes by car to nightlife center and famous dunes of Playa del Inglés.
We have a private car service which can pick you up as well as return you to the airport for almost the same as a taxi - €30; just let us know.
There is lots of street parking (no charge) and if you want, for € 8 euro a day you can use the garage at the hotel 200 meters away.

We offer apartments on a self service basis and expect the apartments to be returned in the general same condition as you received it.

Absolutely no smoking or animals in this apartment as it is the apartment we reserve for guests with allergies or asthma! This includes smoking on the balcony and throwing cigarette buts in the trash!

We do not have a lot of rules, rather some common sense request and Does & Dont´s. Respect our apartment the way you would expect anybody renting your home for a few days.
We are not here to take out your garbage or wash the dishes! If we have to, there will be a minimum charge of €25 euro plus a €9 euro credit card processing fee if necessary.
Wir hatten Ende März einen wundervollen Urlaub in dieser sehr hübschen, sauberen und ruhigen Anlage/Wohnung. Gekocht haben wir meist selbst, kleinere und größere Supermärkte sind nicht weit weg und frischen Fisch gibt es sogar vom Fischer am Strand. Der Ort ist außerdem ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die Gran Canaria zu erkunden.
Alexander spricht mehrere Sprachen und ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Wir sind rundum zufrieden!

About the Host, Alexander
I consider myself a mix between an entrepreneur, a hippie and a modern day nomad, as I love to travel and I do not mean in the sense of going somewhere on vacation. I love to travel 3 to 6 months at a time; learning the culture, foods and even the language of the places I visit. My travels usually wind up turning into 3 to 5 year stays. At the moment I speak 4 languages - all 90% fluently. Although I am a bit shy, I am very social and love to meet new people. After a botched hernia operation a few years ago I was forced to almost completely stop traveling.
Several years ago during the world wide economic crisis I became unemployed. I was already renting out an apartment, which I bought, to pay the mortgage; but soon started renting out my own personal apartment to help pay the rent. Tourists were always approaching me, asking me if I knew of any apartments for rent in the area. So, I soon acquired the apartment of a neighbor in order to rent it out.
My misfortune of being unemployed as well as my language and computer programming skills soon turned into a hobby. I started a Facebook page and partnered with a German online travel agency. After acquiring another apartment, my hobby was turning into a small part time business. Two years later, AirBnB appeared on the scene.
Today I am Managing Director of Aguycan Beach Apartments and have no time for traveling. Besides (website hidden), my own site; a bit abandoned lately and AirBnB, we are also listed on (website hidden), Travelocity, Trivago and HouseTrip as well as many other travel websites. Although I do not make a living doing this, I love it; it has become a full time enterprise for me and it gives me a bit more social contact than I would otherwise have on this island.
I wish I could turn this into a part-time legal employment and not be dependent on my father but that would mean raising the prices, a lot of legal issues & obligations and little or even no financial gain.
