The room has a shower and has an small outside window in it.

Good location, close to metro, complete privacy, very clean ... nice try by the host.
Jinwoo's little "E-Living" hotel is a very convenient and affordable location for anyone visiting Seoul for a short or long stay. It's close to a subway station and everything else I have needed on what now have been my four stays there: restaurants, bars & convenience stores; business supply, print shops, banks.
Rooms are tiny, even by Seoul hotel standards, but the bed is comfortable & there's a desk/counter and enough space to get work done.
Jinwoo is also incredibly generous with his time, escorting me to the print shop I needed while there in November. He is unfailingly helpful!
Good location, closeby the train station so commute is relatively easy. Lots of great restaurants in that area during evenings so lots of colors, flavors and sights to explore.
Good value for what you are paying for - a shower and bed were exactly what I needed during my stay since I did spend most of the day outside exploring the city.
I recommend this place. The rooms are clean and you get your own shower. The owner is a great guy and the staff are polite. The place is quiet and cool during the night with central A/C; its comforting on a hot summer night. It's great if you're on a tight budget, definitely underpriced.
Drawbacks: Bathrooms are communal (his/her toilets are in the same room), wifi was fussy, small rooms equal small beds. There was no TV in my room, and $10 deposit for key.
When I got there someone was already waiting on me, I loved the room it was cozy and I love that the shower is so close. It did get hot in there often though, that little room can get really hot. The bed is a little stiff, if that's not your comfort level you might have a problem with that. All and I love the place, and I would definite rent a room there again. I am planing on going back to Korea soon and I've fallen in love with the area. :) Jinwoo is quick with fixing any problem that you'd have. Thank you Jinwoo for being a good host.
Great location, great price, superb help from Jinwoo. Seocho Subway Station, Exit #1 is 100 meters away and you pass a mini-mart and Vietnamese restaurant on the way with a hundred other restaurants and bars within a kilometer. Also a post office is .5 km away in case you have to send packages, as I did.
I stayed at his pad twice before and after trips to Busan. Also met a lady who'd been there for 10 months. If that's not an endorsement, what is?
I suffered a knee injury a week before first arriving in Seoul & going up/down steps was slow and painful. Jinwoo met me at the entrance to his building and carried my heavy suitcase up to and down from his second floor apartment on both visits.
His total apartment configuration is a set of room on the outside and another set on the inside of the hallway they all open into. First stay was a room on the inside. No windows.
I asked for a room with a window for my return & was given one with a view of the wall of the building next door. Not really worth the extra 3,000 won unless you tend toward claustrophobia.
Also, cold weather, 0-5C, hit Seoul on my second stay and the window was a heat sink. However, I asked for an extra blanket and quickly received it.
Bring your own toiletries. None provided for the inroom shower.
Overall I was absolutely satisfied and look forward to my next stay. (Sorry Kim's Seoul Guest House.)
Stayed here for 10+ days in September... Small, quiet, and clean. It's not luxurious or anything, but it is exactly as advertised. Especially for this price at this location, I don't believe it is possible to find a better place to stay. Jin was super helpful, friendly, and accessible. I'd totally recommend this place to my friends :) Thanks Jin!
