We had a lovely stay at Charlotte's flat. As many reviewers noted, the flat is even bigger than it appears in photos. Very well stocked with everything we could need, and situated in a very charming neighborhood close the all of the Edinburgh attractions. Charlotte was prompt with her responses and very helpful, even coming to meet us when we arrived and walking us through the flat and accommodating a late check out for us. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Will definitely stay here again on any future visits to Edinburgh.
We were lucky enough to stay in Charlottes apartment for about a week. The apartment was a short walk away from the tram stop that travels to and from the airport.
When we arrived we were greeted by Charlotte and couldn't believe the size of the place. The photos honestly don't do it justice and is more than enough for two people!
Everything was neatly organised and very clean and tidy. Charlotte left us with lots of information about EVERYTHING, which was very helpful.
We couldn't of been happier with our stay in Edinburgh and we would recommend this apartment to anyone.
The flat was amazing and the neighbourhood lovely. A Real Foods and some very lovely delis are just around the corner. Great position and most things walkable. It's very well equipped and decorated. A hairdryer, whirlpool bath, towels, lots of pillows and cushions, comfortable bed.
Our flight was delayed. We arrived a bit late and were met by Ewan, who was very friendly and pointed out nice places to go on walks on the map.
Loved, loved, loved this flat!! It was even more spacious and beautiful than the photos. Everything is spotless. The location was perfect! Very quiet, but just steps away from tons of restaurants, boutiques, shops & pubs. The walk from the train station was quick, super simple and conveniently all downhill. We were able to walk to absolutely everything we wanted to see in the city in 20 minutes or less. We never even used the bus.
Charlotte has thought of every detail. We felt like we were in our dream home. There is a binder full of directions on how to use things in the flat and recommendations on sight seeing. There are travel books, novels, and movies. There is a basket full of UK adapters for your use, high quality toiletries, a nice full size hair dryer, an iron & board & drying rack. The washing machine was handy & easy to use. The kitchen is gorgeous. I wish I could replace my kitchen at home with this one. It's a shame we didn't end up finding time to cook in it. All the utensils & tools are high end and there was definitely anything you would need and more to cook up anything you want. The bathroom is as swanky as it looks like in the photos. The whirlpool bath was a treat after long days of walking. The hot water heater is one of the on demand kinds so you don't ever run out of hot water. The temperature of the flat was also perfect.
The only slight negative is that there was not very good light near any of the mirrors and there are no outlets in the bathroom so we ended up getting ready in the morning in the living room where there was more light. So bring a travel mirror, ladies. Problem solved.
We adored Edinburgh & I DEFINITELY want to come back. I can't imagine there's a place that's nicer for the money than this flat. Book this flat, you won't regret it! Just don't book it for the week that I come back to visit in 2016 please! ;)
Charlotte is lovely and warm. She was prompt with responding to our initial enquiry and the whole process felt very professional. The apartment is beautifully appointed and is in an incredible location. I have lived in Edinburgh previously so didn't need much in the way of advice from Charlotte however she did leave a helpful book filled with restaurants reviews, sightseeing tips et al. Would definitely stay here again.
Charlotte was a wonderful host! She provided us with excellent information prior to our arrival and was even there to meet us upon arrival and answer any questions we may have had.
The location is fantastic- very close to tram transport link and easy access to food shops, cute little local bars, pubs and restaurants.
Apartment itself was beautiful. Absolutely perfect, stress- free stay. Couldn't have asked for anything more.
We were met at the flat and had everything shown to us. There was plenty of advice for things to see and do, and useful maps. The flat is beautiful and really coloured our stay. It's a great location, too - central with plenty of shops and attractions on the doorstep.
