This renovated Waterfront Suite is perfect for couples, small families & business travelers looking for a tropical getaway. Minutes from the Airport, downtown Tampa, Laser Spine Institute, and Raymond James Stadium. It offers the best sunset views in Tampa. This is the only all-water-front resort in the city of Tampa and offers bay views, pool & a unique tropical atmosphere. Why settle for a mediocre hotel room when you can have a truly exotic experience in this spacious Waterfront Suite.

The space
This remodeled and updated, fully furnished 1 bedroom/1 bathroom Suite offers a clean, spacious and relaxing environment. It also has a more open floor plan compared to other Sailport Suites. The Suite provides your own private balcony, facing west, with views of the pool and incredible sunsets over the bay. Every night will provide unbelievable picture opportunities. Complimentary FREE wi-fi and parking is provided as well. The Suite has new stainless steel appliances, granite kitchen countertops, large tiled shower and bathroom floor, granite bathroom countertop, efficient work space, gourmet kitchen, wall mounted bar, and cable. The bedroom has a Queen bed with memory foam mattress, beveled mirror closet doors, and mood lighting that changes color to fit your preference. The stylish living room futon also converts to a comfortable queen sized bed - blanket, sheets and pillows are conveniently found in the bedroom closet. This Suite has been thoughtfully designed, decorated and supplied with everything in mind to ensure a comfortable, relaxing and memorable stay for it's guests.

Guest access
Additional access to bayside pool, heated year round to 84 degrees. Also a large sun deck, a beautiful fishing pier, sandy "beach" area with fire pit and tiki tables, outdoor grills, outdoor fitness area, full-sized sand volleyball court in the "beach" area, 24 hr security, 24 hr guest desk for basic questions and emergencies, convenient store and helpful business center, and business/meeting room available upon request. We also have a poolside restaurant/bar called Big Bamboo Bayside serving a blend of Mexican, American and seafood appetizers and entrees along with beverages (non-alcohol and adult).

Other things to note
All guests must have your Reservation registered with Property Management immediately after we Accept your Request. Please provide us with the following information within 24 after being Accepted to avoid Reservation Cancellation:

1) ALL Adult Guests' Names
2) Booking Guest's Address
3) Booking Guest's Email Address

If guests on not on security's check in list, on the day of their arrival, security will not allow them on the property to check in.

The resort grounds are unlike any other in the city of Tampa. This is the only all-waterfront resort in the city limits. Typically someone has to drive 30-40 minutes to the Gulf to find such a tropical, relaxing, beach atmosphere. the resort provides the best of both worlds for people who want to be in Tampa, but still desire the feel of the famous Gulf beaches. This is truly one of Tampa's best hidden gems.

The resort is the only area in the city of Tampa that feels like you are in the Gulf of Mexico. It is located in the Rocky Point area of Tampa over looking the Tampa Bay. You will get unbelievable sunset views from your sofa. Public beaches are minutes away! It's also walking distance to many great restaurants and bars like the Rusty Pelican, Whiskey Joes, Beach Bar, and Bahama Breeze.
The resort is central, convenient and beachy. Only minutes from the airport, Westshore area, downtown area and the International Plaza. In town for sports or entertainment? Sailport is less than 15 minutes from Raymond James Stadium and George M. Steinbrenner Field. It is also about 20 minutes from Benchmark International Arena to catch a Tampa Bay Lightning hockey game or concert. Also Philadelphia Phillies' Bright House Field is less than 20 minutes using the neighboring Courtney Campbell Causeway. This just shows how Sailport is centrally located to everything.

We are a family owned business whose only goal is to help you create lasting memories. My Mom worked for a travel agency in Boston that specialized in over seas vacations. My Dad was a paleontologist at Harvard and he traveled worldwide digging up fossils. My brother, Chuck, spent most of his career traveling in sales, and I spent most of mine traveling internationally as a professional photographer/videographer. We all agree that there is something magical about the ocean, and there is nothing we love more than staying at a tropical environment in a cozy room with a view. Whether it's one of our properties in the city of Tampa or at one of the pristine Gulf beaches, we put a great deal of thought into every decorating decision so that our fellow beach-loving family can enjoy a tropical, relaxing experience :)
