The Space

The room is mainly a study room, with a futon, a Queen size mattress and a desk. The room is carpeted and it has its own door which of course locks! The window looks out to the backyard - but sorry no access to the backyard. We provide clean towels and sheets. There is one bathroom in the apartment (we must share). We take off our shoes when we go in to keep NYC germs away.

Guest Access

The guests should feel free to hang out in the living room, dining area, kitchen...
We are usually out in the morning for work and try to sleep in on weekends.

Interaction with Guests

I live between New York and Quito, Ecuador. Before my current endeavors in Clinical Social Work, I worked in galleries and museums of New York. My family has been in Quito's historic center for three generations. Our property is a project that is dear to our heart because it is our first attempt to share this wonderful city with many others. I'm currently renovating this building (where the Quito apartments are located) using ceramics made in Ecuador and furniture from local shops.
