Mike and Mary were very pleasant. The home was very clean and they made us feel welcome. I would not hesitate to stay with them in the future.
We had a wonderful stay at Mary and Mike's house which was in such a great location for us, between LA and SF. Their house is very beautiful and in such a great neighborhood with great views with easy access to highways and restaurants. Their recommendation for dinner was perfect. Their house is very clean and comfortable, including the bed, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer there and had the chance to sit and have a glass of wine with these very friendly people.
Our third stay at Mike and Mary's was amazing as usual. It was one of two Airbnb's that we stayed at during Memorial-Weekend, and the overall experience at Mike and Mary's was head and shoulders above the other. Their house is beautiful and so is the room. We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone traveling to the Central Coast— we wish that we could've stayed longer!
We had a wonderful time during our stay.
Mike is a great host and the house can not be more beautiful. It is the last house on top of the hill with open view over mountains. Look like movies.
Our room had perfect privacy on the second floor with private bathroom. They went beyond expectation by making us coffee in morning and tasty snacks for breakfast. The whole neighborhood is quite and seems like a perfect place cycling and hiking.
Stunning views from this lovely home made our stay in this area extra special.
Mary and Mike were extremely accommodating when we ended up arriving much later than planned and left us a delicious breakfast buffet to enjoy the following morning which was hugely appreciated.
We were sad we weren't able to meet them in person due to our timetable but were so grateful for the way we felt welcomed into their lovely light-filled home overlooking the countryside.
The location is excellent - quiet, at the end of a road half way up a hill but a very quick drive into the charming town of San Luis Obispo. An excellent place to retreat to after a long day on Pacific Coast Highway.
I had an amazing stay. Mary and Mike are wonderful hosts - they are great to chat to and their tips on what to do and eat around SLO were spot on. The room was fantastic, I slept very well.
Mike (and Mary) were good and responsive communicators in advance of my arrival which helped me plan and make some decisions about my visit to San Luis Obispo. Mike greeted me upon my arrival and made me feel welcome and gave me some good suggestions for my onward trip the next morning.
The house is a little bit out of town which makes it feel like a quiet retreat. While the room is inside the house, it has an entire upper floor to itself and felt very private. I had a delightful morning sipping coffee on the porch and while reading and enjoying the view.
A great place for a visitor who wants to have some moments of quiet rural splendor while being quite close to SLO.
