  • Gerry And Jeanette were amazing hosts who made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay special. The house itself was stunning, the views incredible and our room with private bathroom, (the giant bath tub was to die for!) both modern and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious - Jeanette even went out of her way to find the brand of bread I liked. We enjoyed being able to sit and chat with our hosts in the early evenings with glasses of wine yet also felt we had privacy available to us if we needed it. Highly recommended. Look forward to seeing you both next year! xo

  • The last two days of our NZ trip we spent at Waterfront Paradise. It was really a paradise. The house is beautiful, the view is amazing and Jeannette and Gerry were so warmly hosts that we can fully recommend this place.
Kayaking, walking along shore and relax. We have really enjoyed this two days.
The breakfast on the terrace was another highlight.
We had such a wonderful time - Thank you!
    Big hug.

  • Jeannette and Gerry are the most wonderful hosts, I appreciated their warm welcome and their great hospitality - thank you so much. They are so supportive, providing any help or information you might need. Their place really is a waterfront paradise. The beautiful house is located in a quiet and peaceful area with stunning views and comfortable surroundings. Every morning I enjoyed Jeannette's delicious homemade muesli and great coffee. I did not want to leave and asked Gerry if I could occupy his workshop ;-) I will be back...

  • This was our fourth stay with Gerry and Jeannette over a two month period. Each visit was more fun than the last, certainly as we came to know them better and they us. The home is lovely, the view is amazingly beautiful and peaceful, and the location is convent for traveling out of Auckland or for easy access to the city and its activities. We enjoyed sharing a glass or two of wine each evening, some that we picked up our travels. The photos do not do justice to their slice of paradise.

  • The location is quiet, peaceful and amazingly beautiful, with a nature reserve only between you and shore. Jeannette and Gerry are wonderful hosts. Their suggestions for travel led us to change our itinerary...for the best! We have had a magical experience in New Zealand and thank our airbnb hosts for much of it.

  • Gerry and Jeanette's house was just wonderful! Incredibly clean, quiet and peaceful and right by the water. At first glance it seems off the beat and path but from the patio you gaze upon downtown Auckland-just great. There's a great connection via bus to downtown, totally easy to find! As for the hosts, they took their time to talk to me about my questions and were more like friends than anything else. I felt at home, away from home. They are great people, and it's a shame we live so far away and cant visit in the near future. Thank you so much!

  • Every review I have seen about this wonderful place is so true! We didn't know what to expect, as this was our first experience using Air BNB, but it certainly won't be the last.i cannot imagine every experience will be as good as these days we spent with Gerry and Jeanette though.
Their house is beautiful and in a spot with glorious views and comfortable spots to enjoy them.
I couldn't imagine better hosts or more comfortable surroundings.
The breakfasts were delicious and Jeanette could make a fortune with the muesli recipe.
Any visit to Auckland in the future would definitely be back there.
    Thankyou for a memorable stay.

  • This was my third home stay in New Zealand. It's a very charming waterside property with amazing views that provided an interesting alternative to the city centre. I was very well looked after by the charming couple who were only to happy to offer advice along with a superb breakfast. Only wish I had more time to spend at the delightful location.
