Simone was an excellent host, very available, gave us good travel advice, and very sympathetic! The very large house was exactly was we were looking for, a break from busy cities, surrounded by Tuscany's magnificent landscape, with olive trees, but within a 10 minutes drive from Siena. Living in a 500 y/o house, adjacent to a 800 y/o castle is quite something. I highly recommended this place
Simone welcomed us as family, the fresh pastries his wife made were delicious, the location was perfect for experiencing Tuscany. The pictures were very accurate.
The stay at Simone's house was wonderful. The house was easy to find following the Google maps directions along with the house number. It is a beautiful farm house next to a picturesque tower, and a short hop to a castle nearby. The house itself was spacious, easily sleeping a family of 5 adults. Everything was clean, well equipped for meals, and the WiFi - a LTE hotspot was the best of the whole 4 week roadtrip. I only wished it had been dry enough to grill out and have a picnic in the courtyard. I would recommend staying here to anyone!
Simone was a wonderful host. He met us in Sienna and showed us the home and made sure we had everything we needed The rustic, charming home is in a beautiful location, off the beaten path with lovely views out every window. The kitchen was well equipped, including welcoming biscotti, fresh eggs and there was even juice and milk in the fridge. It was perfect -- just what we had hoped it would be for our stay in beautiful Tuscany! Hope to return someday. Grazie, Simone
Our hosts were amazing, before and during our stay. We were given a very warm welcome and introduced us to the area, recommending Tuscan Cuisine and Pici in particular. This became our staple for the rest of our visit to Tuscany.
The kitchen and food provided was incredible, and we made full use of the comfortable facilities.
It's position in the Siena/Monteriggiano countryside is beautiful and very peaceful. Early morning walks are a must. It was a perfect position from which to explore Tuscany. Thank you for a most enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Simone and his wife were amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable in their place.
Which I have to say was excellent. Its an apartment in a converted castle out in the country side. It has everything that you would need during your stay and in a beautiful setting.
Make sure you have a vehicle when staying here. Its about a 10 minute drive to a little city with restaurants and a grocery store.
Its a great home base for visiting the hill top villages of Tuscany. We highly recommend it.
