Miguel's House was lovely, the best thing about our Spanish trip by far. Miguel and his gorgeous friendly artist wife, met us at the house and gave us a grand tour of not just the very clean, amazing house with the view to die for but also a quick tour of the town (we may have stopped for some tapas) and some tips on where to eat for the evening and breakfast. Miguel also introduced me to my new favourite drink... the Café Belmonte – A Mediterranean favourite, the cafe belmonte is essentially a cafe bombon with a dash of brandy, very nice after a night of too much cava. The town is a slice of "real" spain and I don't really what to tell anyone about it as I don't want to share it. Again the view was amazing and we just hung out with some cava drinking up the view. (and the wine) Try the local restaurant "El Olivar" it was one of the best meal we have had in years, the only place that had a olive oil course!! Don't think about it, just book up Salamander.

It was a delight to stay here. It is beautifully decorated with a good energy & attention to the details. It has a lovely fireplace in the living room, a good internet connection, modern bathrooms and a fully fitted kitchen. There is also two living rooms and 4 bedrooms. The house is very spacious. The views are incredible too, especially the sunrise and sunset, I think this house has the best views! There is a patio, a balcony and roof terrace which was a pleasant surprise. Miguel and Teresa met me and took me to the house. Meeting them was the highlight of my trip. Staying here is like staying with friends! The house is located close to the centre only a few minutes walk and you can park your car behind the house (as the house has two entrances, from the front and the back). The house has been lovingly renovated and Teresa's paintings are beautiful & inspiring. I stayed here during the Semana Santa (tambour festival) and it is good that during the tambour festival you cannot hear anything inside so you are guaranteed a good nights sleep! I will definitely recommend it to those who would like to stay in a traditional house with amazing views it is like a perfect postcard with views of the town and the valley (the best in Moratalla!) and would love to stay here again!

Asolutely the best! We were welcomed by Miguel and Theresa into their wonderful home as if we were family and they personally showed us to the best shops, bars, and resturants in the town. This was the best Spain experience anyone in my family could have imagined in an undiscovered part of Spain and a piece of heaven! The views are out of this world, but the company and friendship we have discovered in Miguel and Theresa will last a life time.
