The Space

The location is perfect. Close to everything, yet situated on a quite tree-lined street 1 block in either direction from the Theater District, great dining and Times Square. The building was just renovated and the apartment has great amenities, best of all a washer/dryer. There is a secure intercom system with video. The apartment has 4 large windows and it gets a lot of sunlight. A glass paned door separates the bedroom from the living room. There are 2 TVs - one 32" LCD TV and one 27" TV - both with cable TV. There is WIFI internet and air conditioning. Living room has a sofa with a pull-out full size bed or you can use an automatically inflatable air bed (fits 2 people). Bedroom has a queen size bed. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking; there is a dishwasher & wine cooler too.

Interaction with Guests

I meet my guests when they arrive to give them the keys, explain the house rules, and give them a short orientation.

The Neighborhood

Very convenient location for taking advantage of all that Manhattan has to offer - great dining and night life just around the corner and within walking distance to Broadway shows. Minutes to Times Square & Broadway. 5 minute walk to Columbus Circle & Lincoln Center. 10 Minute walk to Museum of Natural History & Museum of Modern Art.

Getting around

Subway is 1.5 blocks away.

  • Thank you Teresa, we really enjoyed our 3 week stay in your apartment. The photos clearly represent the size of the apartment, so there were no surprises there. Teresa was prompt in replying to any requests we had, having breakfast provided was great, especially having 2 teenage sons to get up in the morning. The apartment is central to any travellers needs, especially the subway. We would happily stay here again.

  • Teresa's apartment is exactly the same as her photos. This apartment is in a great great great location and close to everything (restaurants, grocery store, subway, Rockefeller centre, time square, Broadway, etc.). Also, this apartment is very clean as I expected and it has all amenities I need. I had a fantastic time in NYC, thank you Teresa.

  • Everything Teresa listed was on point. She responded promptly even when my flight was delayed. My 2 girlfriends and I really enjoyed our stay! Everything was in walking distance... great restaurants (we thoroughly enjoyed pork buns at Ippudo and great wine at the cozy Casellula), Central Park, Times Square, subway lines, etc. The apartment is quite small but that was expected. Thanks again, Teresa!

  • Positive
The location of the apartment was very convenient for all my wife and I wanted to do. Teresa was easy to get a hold of and was very responsive to our requests. The neighborhood is relatively quiet at night.

After all of the positive reviews mentioning the cleanliness of the apartment we were extremely surprised to find what we did. The corners of the bathroom floor had hair, the TV Stand was dusty, and the lint trap in the dryer was filled to the brim. Those are the things I could over look. The issues that had us call Teresa were stains on the sheets along with the hair and toenail clippings in the blankets. After walking around the apartment for a while barefoot I wished I hadn't got in bed as I then transfered a lot of dirt into the sheets as well.

Breakfast was included but as someone else mentioned some of the stuff (jelly, milk, peanut butter) were opened and used. There were eggs when we arrived with an open bowl of grapes but after Teresa came to clean the eggs and grapes were removed. The bread, OJ, Apple juice and bagels did seem to be new. We opted to eat out for all of our meals.

The TV in the main living area did work but the one in the bedroom did not work. Thankfully the internet did work for us to watch Netflix.

  • Teresa's apt is very well located, a little bit tiny but super equipped and clean. My husband, my two kids and I were able to accommodate us perfectly! Teresa was attentive and offered us their help to a problem that was not her (website hidden) is a wonderful city and Teresa's place is great to stay in! Definitely recommended!!

  • Teresa was immediately responsive to each of our advance communications and seemed fine with the fact that we had to change our promised arrival time by almost two hours. We arrived late in the afternoon, stayed only one night and left pretty early the next morning.

The location is fabulous. We had dinner on wonderful 9th Avenue and walked to Lincoln Center --as we could easily have done to Times Square, all the B'way Theaters, Rockefeller Center and Central Park. The apartment was clean and amazingly well equipped. All the necessary kitchen appliances, flatware, utensils, plates, glasses, serving pieces, pots and pans and more cups and mugs than we would use in week. We found bread (two kinds), butter, jam, milk, juice, coffee, ham, cheese and eggs!

The apartment is on the second floor of a typical old NYC building and appears to be completely newly rehabbed. The furniture and kitchen all appeared brand new. The pictures, as I look at them now, certainly are reflective of the apartment, but do not show how very small it is, so be forewarned about this. We were a party of two and it is unlikely we would stay there together again; we can't imagine how four people could possibly stay here unless all they did was sleep in the apartment. That said, I would be happy to be there on my own should I need a place just for myself -- it was clean, clean, clean and clearly well cared for.

  • I was happy with our experience with Teresa! The location is amazing! All the details went as planned. Anytime I had a question Teresa responded efficiently. Breakfast included was a bonus that we totally took advantage of! I would definately reccomend her place to future travellers!

  • small flat but well equiped and clean. It is also very well located in NY in a "quiet" street (at least for NY) ! lot of restaurants around. We definitly recommend this appartment.

Gracias Teresa, esperamos volver a NYC!

Originally from NJ, but live in NYC now. Majored in art but now working as a computer programming for a large bank. Love to travel but haven't had the time. In addition to my day job, I sell stuff on the internet. I've travelled quite a bit so I know what's important when you are a guest. I try to provide my guests with what I would like/expect when I travel.
