Sunny, open home on one acre of land in Sebastopol. Walking distance from the sweet town of Graton, with lovely restaurants and wineries. Right up the street from a bike path that spans several towns. Concrete floors, full kitchen and BBQ. Perfect for families looking for a little country getaway.
Our home is clean, modern, and comfortable. A great place to get away from the city and enjoy the peace of the country. Excellent home base to explore great restaurants, cook great meals from local produce, head out to the redwoods, river, ocean or wineries. This is a great spot for families. One acre of (completely fenced in) land for kids to run around and enjoy- and we have sheep and chickens!
One bedroom has a king sized bed, the other has twin bunk beds.
There are two homes on the property, one is occupied by a tenant, but spaced far enough away that you will have plenty of privacy.
Interaction with Guests
We will meet you at the property to give you the key and show you around the house.
Sebastopol is a sweet, small bohemian town. Close to bodega bay, wineries, redwood forests and the river. The area is full of wonderful restaurants, great hiking and biking, and so much to explore.
Please no smoking in the house. No parties in the house, only the people included on the airbnb reservation should be in the house or on the property. The septic system is very fragile, please do not flush anything but toilet paper down.
We loved Julia's house! It was a great size for two couples, and the property is perfect for dogs. Julia was a fabulous host--very responsive and left us a very sweet bottle of wine. We'll definitely be back again soon!
We had a great experience staying at Julia's house. It is very charming - exactly as pictured. Our son loved running around the yard and seeing the animals. Julia and her family were great hosts - easy to reach and very accommodating.
We stayed one night at Julia's place. Wonderful house! We enjoy the design feeling. Julia kindly offered us a bottle of wine. We also did some cooking. Julia was very kind to set up an additional bed.
We enjoyed a one night stay at Julia's charming house. It's very spacious, uniquely decorated, and conveniently located near the many attractions of Sebastopol. The house was equipped with everything we needed and Julia was a gracious host- very welcoming and easy to reach. It's an easy walk into Graton (check out Willow Wood Cafe!), but be careful at night because it's quite dark and a bit narrow at certain points. I'd recommend a flashlight of some sort to make sure the cars see you easily. Overall, it was a great stay and we'd book the property again. Thanks, Julia!
Julia's place is a great little escape from the city! The town's got a slow pace, 20 mins from the coast, and nearby to a handful of yummy eateries in walking distance.
Their home is minimal but warm with hip design sensibility - Heath Ceramics, Eames chairs, kilim rugs, and plants in every room. Perfect for a couple and two small kids.
It's on a tract of land with ample space for our little dog to run around. The neighbor (within the same property) also has a few Jacob's sheep to play with.
Communicative, welcoming hostess. Thanks, Julia!
Julia is an amazingly sweet host. I did't have time to iron my shirt the night before arriving and Julia kindly ran to her mother's house to borrow an iron for us to use. The home is lovely, cozy and in a very accessible location. Plus, they have some cool sheep on the property! I definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a warm, and inviting place away from the city.
