This is a fairly quiet townhouse neighborhood about 1 mile from UVA football stadium - just off of Cherry Avenue and not far from Jefferson Park Avenue.
Charlottesville area transit has a stop at the entrance to the development. Street parking and room for one in the garage.
This is a townhouse so we share walls with our neighbors. If you're into loud parties, this isn't the place for you. We thank you in advance for leaving your pets home and no smoking inside or out on the grounds.
We spent a long weekend here with another couple and found the place to be the perfect home away from home. Carla was exceptional in her communication with us prior to our stay.
The location was perfect for our visit to the UVA campus and the neighborhood is really nice. Walking /running around the area is also very easy and safe.
The house was clean, comfortable and very spacious /open. Parking was easy to find right in front of the house or in the back garage.
We definitely look forward to a future stay upon a return trip to Charlottesville!
Carla provided an awesome AirBnB experience. Her instructions were clear when we arrived and she provided a binder with great recommendations of things to do in the surrounding area. My friends and I came here to attend the UVA home opener. If you are planning on staying in Charlottesville to catch a game or want a quiet home base to explore this beautiful piece of Virginia, this is the perfect place. I would absolutely stay here again. Carla made it super easy to have a great time. Don't miss out!
Carla was a wonderful host and quick to respond to any questions we had. She provided a binder and brochures of information about the house and the Charlottesville area which were extremely useful.
The house was beautiful, extremely clean and organized - linens neatly folded in the closet, kitchen cabinets stocked, beds perfectly made, etc. It's in a great location near downtown Charlottesville, with easy access to every attraction. If you're coming to Charlottesville, stay here!

Carla's place is great and very convenient to grounds. Loved being back in C'ville!
Great place to stay. Close to everything in Charlottesville. Lots of room. Plenty of kitchen supplies. We cooked a few meals with no problems. Had a great time with family and friends.
The listing is exactly as advertised - lovely! We had a small group of family members - parents, grandparents, and adult children, and this house fit the bill perfectly (the lone first floor bedroom, for example, was great for our multigenerational group since it gave Grandma more privacy and quiet with less stairs to climb).
Kitchen is well-equipped, and we made a number of meals there with no problem. Overall the house is extremely clean and organized - linens neatly folded in the linen closet, beds perfectly made, etc. etc. The location is great too, in a quiet subdivision in which all of the houses seem pretty new and shiny. It makes for a very quick car ride to the historic downtown mall and restaurants/shops. Perfectly situated for trips to Monticello or the nearby wineries as well. Oh - and the house has a very lovely back patio! That was one of our favorite parts: sitting outside on a lovely Virginia evening to chat and enjoy a glass of wine.
Last but not least, Carla is organized and very responsive - she left a whole binder of information about the house and Charlottesville, which was useful. I'm sure if we ever find ourselves in the area again, we'll use this place!
This townhouse is a second home for us to visit our daughter in Charlottesville, Shenandoah National Park, area wineries and all the other wonderful things that central Virginia has to offer!
