Tucked away in tranquil Dean Park Historic District. Built in 1925, this carriage house has been completely renovated in 2016. It is over garage, there are stairs. Stroll to downtown Fort Myers River District, and enjoy the restaurants, nightlife, and cultural events. Take advantage of all the activities the area has to offer, and at the end of the day come back to this peaceful oasis. Our place can accommodate couples, older children ( inflatable twin size bed), business travelers. No pets.

The space
The carriage house/guesthouse is over the garage, so there are stairs. May not be suitable for small children, the space is not child proof. There is parking next to the garage. The alley has a different atmosphere with young professionals who live in the guesthouses, people walking their dogs, and a bunch of cats roaming around.

Guest access
Unheated pool

Location

Fort Myers, Florida, United States

Dean Park Historic District is a small neighborhood of about 80 homes, most of them built between 1912 and the mid-1920’s and within walking distance of downtown Fort Myers. Its homes are rich in architectural styles from Craftsman bungalows to Spanish, Mediterranean, English Tudor, and colonial revival designs so popular in that era.

I'm a doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. A profession that took me to amazing healing places in China, Thailand, South Korea, and Japan. Also a stained glass and mosaic enthusiast. Originally from Rio, Brazil, where I met my husband Bob. We love to travel the world, and meet different people. Just in case you want to read more: For the past 40 years we have lived in Connecticut, North Carolina, Key West and California before moving to Fort Myers from San Diego in 2015. I’m one of those crazy people who miss the heavy rains and thunderstorms of the tropics, and love to have my cherished orchids hanging on trees. We have one little dog, one house cat, and some strays that adopted us. We have 2 grown children, no grandchildren, but we have very precious and very smart grand-dogs and grand-cats. Our son is a pilot with JetBlue. Our daughter is also an acupuncturist. We are happily restoring our 1925 brick bungalow, after finished restoring the guesthouse. I have 3 mottoes: Dreams don't work unless you do. If I was meant to be controlled I would have come with a remote. If traveling was free, you would not see me again. Come and see us, we would love to meet you.
