About This Listing
El nuestro es un gran apartamento de tres habitaciones grandes, que está ubicado en Eixample Dreta.
Hola, welcome to Barcelona!
We only rent Thursdays-Mondays.
This is a large three bedroom apartment in the middle of Barcelona. We are 5 minutes walking from Paseo de Gracia and Diagonal with all its shops, museums and Guadi buildings. The architecture is amazing in our neighborhood. You are also in the heart of all the best restaurants, cafes and bars. You can't beat this exceptional e'ixample location.
We neighbor the Gracia district which is ideal for boutique shopping, art and eating! With its myriad Catalonian bodegas and bars you'll never have a dull moment. This is also where you'll find the best fusion eats and quirky cafes and sweets shops.
We rent the entire flat, it is not shared. You will find that you have plenty of space to relax and access to all the comforts of home. We welcome you to cook, enjoy breakfast on the terrace, watch movies if you need a night in, and unwind during your stay.
Large flat screen tv, prime wifi and a newly remodeled kitchen and 2 bathrooms.
I love the airbnb community and am happy to rent! Please contact me and let me know how many rooms you are interested in and any other special needs.
Please indicate the time you plan to check in when booking. We both work M-F so late check ins (after 20:30hrs) require a 20 euro supplement fee. This is to coordinate keys. We have had to do this since so many people request check in times late into the night. Thank you for understanding!
Please contact me if you have any questions about specific accommodations. I can definitely make a special offer for long term housing.
Saludos, Terry & Natalie

From BCN airport it is roughly 30 € in taxi. Or you could take the Aerobus for 8 euros round-trip. In this case you would get off in Plaza Espanya and walk.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------We ask that your clean up after yourselves minimally to be polite which is as basic as taking out the trash when you leave (especially beer bottles etc) and washing your dishes. At the moment we do not charge a cleaning fee but this might have to change due to some past experiences. We hope not! Also, there is a big terrace so please smoke outside. You are free to come and go as you please we just ask that you are honest about the number of guests you host and that you do not throw a party. Thank you! T & N
Listing description quite accurate, neighbourhood we'd chosen specifically, all good really.
Communication in the beginning was not entirely smooth, but once we arrived I was able to reach Natalie by phone and arrange for arrival and everything. There was a modest fee for late arrival (after 8pm), due to need to organize for the presence of a friend, which would have been good to know before confirmation. Not a big deal, though. For the apartment itself, only one negative. The water heater (an old gas one) would periodically turn off, seemingly caused by the greater usage from showers. Easy to turn back on with matches. Otherwise, the apartment itself was exactly as advertised. It has tons of space and was very comfortable. Easy to access key metro lines and everything. Parking in the neighborhood was not easy, though, so keep that in mind if travelling by car.
The flat was in a good location, but the flat itself could do with some TLC... for the price I wasn't expecting too much so I wasn't overly disappointed.
There were a few oddities like - white material cello taped over a gaping hole in the ceiling, no table and chairs on the terrace and a very, very slow oven. The shower was awful - it fluctuated between scolding hot and freezing cold.
Positives regarding the flat: Clean and the bed from what I recall was comfortable.
I'm not too sure who the host was... I think it was Terry, but there were a few names involved including a person who met me with the keys who couldn't speak English, at all.
If you are a bunch lads looking to cut costs like we were, then yeah go for it...
Nice host. A bit hard to correspond with him when trying to set up the place. Not the coolest location, but easy to get to everything. Lots of space, but the shower is not working correctly. Nice and clean. Good price. Good value after all.
The apartment was clean, and was located in a nice neighborhood that was close to a metro station. The only concern I had was that I was given the name and contact info for the house guide and I did not hear back from her when I emailed the day before my arrival to confirm our meeting time. Upon arrival in Barcelona we called her and she did not answer. We called Terry, the host, and he told us that the house guide was not available/not in the city that day, but that there was someone at the apartment waiting for us. In the end, everything worked out fine, but there were a few tense moments when I hadn't heard back from her by email or by phone. I would have preferred to know in advance that there was someone else for us to contact in the house guides' absence. Overall, the apartment was as advertised.
