Welcome to Summer Shade, a 3BR/2BA home conveniently located with a short walk to both the beach and sound! Enjoy a large deck with grill, shady backyard, tree swing, outdoor shower, and fish cleaning station. Relax in comfy beds, cook in the fully equipped kitchen, and enjoy ping pong, air hockey, corn hole, and foosball. Whether you’re starting your morning with coffee on the deck or ending your day with a sunset stroll, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing and memorable stay.

The space
Summer Shade is your perfect home base for beach days, sound side sunsets, and easy coastal living! Centrally located between the beach and the sound, on one of Emerald Isle's best kept secrets, a quiet shady street lined with live oaks. This bright and spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is ideal for families and friends looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of seaside fun.

Step inside to find an inviting open layout with cozy living spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining area perfect for shared meals. Each bedroom features comfortable beds and fresh, airy décor designed for restful nights after a day in the sun. A washer and dryer are available for your convenience during your stay.

When it is time to settle in you will find two comfortable queen beds in each of two bedrooms, and a third bedroom with a twin and bunkbeds, for additional sleeping needs there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Pack N Play is provided if needed.

Outside, the charm continues. Relax or dine on the large deck, grill up your favorite meal on the gas grill, or unwind in the shady backyard under the trees. Kids (and kids-at-heart) will love the tree swing, while everyone can rinse off the sand in the outdoor hot/cold shower after a beach day. Anglers will appreciate the fish cleaning station for their daily catch.

Bring your kayaks, paddle boards, or boats for quick and easy access at the boat ramp just a short stroll down the block. Cast a line or net from the sound access at either 11th or 13th street access.

For rainy days or evening fun, head to the basement for a little friendly competition—enjoy ping pong, air hockey, corn hole, or foosball in the game area.
