This house was perfect for our stay in Stavanger. We had a large group and were able to easily live here for 3 nights with plenty of space. The kitchen was fully equipped and we cooked at home each night (saving ourselves from Norway's expensive restaurant prices). The house is also walking distance from a supermarket which has everything you need.
The host, Kathrine, was incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with. She quickly responded to all of our questions and was a great source of knowledge on what to do in the Stavanger region.
The house is a perfect base to explore the many incredible hikes along the Lysefjord and also the beautiful islands around Stavanger.
If you are a larger group of travellers, I would highly recommend staying here.
Katherine's house is just as advertised! Spacious and very clean! It is also within walking distance of the ferry terminal for Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock hike), as well as the harbor area where there are some nice restaurants. Katherine is a gracious host and answered all my questions quickly and promptly! Would definitely recommend staying here.
The house was ready and very tide when we arrived. The keys were placed in a key-safe and we got the code a day before our arrival. All the beds were prepared and towels were provided by Kathrine. The internet worked fine. The house is located a few blocks (10-15 min. walk) from where the boats leave to the pulpit rock and not very far from downtown.
We had a great two weeks at your place. Everything was perfect and as described! There was plenty of space for our group. Thank you so much Kathrine for your hospitality. We will definitely be back again!
La maison est grande, relativement propre.
Elle est située dans un quartier industriel en réhabilitation. Elle est à 10 minutes à pieds du centre ville et tout près également de l'embarcadère.
We had a great time in Kathrines house in Stavanger. We were very keen on hiking Preikestolen and Kjerag and the house was only a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal departure point. It's also very close for the bus to the airport.
The house was huge and had everything our group of five would need.
Kathrine was extremely helpful. We accidentally switched off the hot water power point and Kathrine came around within 15mins and helped us fix it.
Would gladly stay again!
