Hahaha fantastic ! Everyone should stay in Philadelphia, and if , only at this house. It was so nice, being a guest in your house. Think about a perfect host.... Go here. Rich knows the best places in Philadelphia and is surely one of the best hosts we ever had. He told me how to order the best sandwich in my life. Thanks for everything.
Staying with Rich and Gloria really made our first visit to Philly super special. It was like staying at a friend's house. Rich was there to greet us and gave us a quick tour of the common area and our room. Gloria's cooking was fantastic! Her french toast was as amazing as I've read in other reviews. She's also a lot of fun to talk to. You definitely got the warm Italian hospitality in her home.
Excellent place to get an idea about neighbourhood. For me it has additional advantage in form of closed parking behind the house.
I would definitely recommend this place.
I grew up in Philadelphia and never knew that such a wonderful house existed so close to my house. Upon arrival, I was greeted Gloria (and her dog Rocky). She showed me around the house and up to my room. The room was exactly as pictured online - but was bigger than I expected. Gloria is a wonderful cook - pancakes one day, quiche another and an all around great person. The location was great for meeting up with my family or for going up to Chestnut Hill for dinner or shopping (which I would recommend). I would definitely stay at Villa Anna again.
Rich and Gloria made my first Airbnb experience wonderful! The room looks exactly like the picture: cozy, clean, quiet and welcoming. Gloria's breakfirst provides me energy for the day. The morning I left, she even drove me to the train station and brought me breakfirst! I would recommend them to everyone.
Villa Anna is a great place to stay for travel and sightsee at Philly with fair price. Rich would take time to introduce you this historic and lovely house. Gloria's breakfast was super good, and it provided me with energy for most of the day! Lol
