This apartment was very nice. What I love most about it, is the decor! It was very roomy!
What a great English basement. I arrived after a weather delay and found my place with ease, when I arrived I was starving and walked 2 blocks to Sonoma restaurant and had a great meal. The Capitol south metro stop is less than 2 blocks away and 2 stops away you can change lines and head north/ south. Everything in the apartment was better than described & comfortable.
This was my first time staying at an Airbnb where the host wasn't located in the same building as me, but Kathryn did a great job of communicating, despite being an entire time zone away.
The place looked as good as listed and was very comfortable. The only struggles we had were getting the Apple TV to work properly and getting the thermostat set to a good temperature. The apartment heats strangely where you need to turn the heat way up to feel warm in the bedroom, but by doing so you make the bathroom a sauna.
Other than that, the apartment was beautiful, and if in the area again, I would definitely stay at Kathryn's place again. What's even better than the apartment itself is the location of the apartment. It's a short walk from places like the Supreme Court as well as 8th Street (which seemed to have a few dozen restaurants that we would have liked to try if we had more time). Definitely an awesome part of DC and a short Uber ride from the National Mall.
Kathryn's place was absolutely gorgeous. I had an amazing time. Kathryn was very helpful and provided me with clear instructions on how to gain access to her home as well as access to the wifi internet. Kathryn's place was very clean and very modern looking. Great place to stay for a weekend getaway!
Kathryn was an excellent host and getting access to the apartment was easy. The unit is as the pictures indicate and it's in an great location for Capitol Hill. I would highly recommend the apartment.
This was a lovely apartment in a great location. The owner was very responsive in answering our questions prior to arriving.
Fantastic neighborhood. Close to everything (food, parks, transportation). Easy in and out access and we were able to leave our bags for a few extra hours which was incredibly helpful!
My husband and I lived in the DC area for many years and moved to Oklahoma full time to raise our children. Our company is based in Washington, DC so we purchased this town home to live in when we come back to DC for work or pleasure -- usually about one visit each month. We love the location and the wonderful restaurants and historical sites that are so close. We want everyone who visits our place to enjoy all the wonder of DC as much as we do.
