The apartment was in a great location. The apartment was exactly as listed, and Kathryn was a great host.
Kathryn is so nice and helpful to guide us check in. The house is old-schooled outside and fancy inside, even better than the description. Ideal location, just a jump away from Lib. of Congress and the Supreme Court.
My host made sure I had all the information I needed before hand. She also made sure that the check-in and check-out times would work for me. The apartment was exactly as presented- fabulous and comfortable.
*I left some presents from Louisiana in the kitchen cabinet. Red beans, beignet mix, some "Slap ya momma" spices, for the next guest or the host- Enjoy!
Great place, convenient to everything. Reliable host, I think this was my 4th visit to this apartment.
This was my first experience with Airbnb, and it could not have been better. This apartment is perfect in location and size. I loved the neighborhood and the choices in restaurants, and the proximity to all the big tourist destinations. I hope to return in the future. Stay here with complete assurance of a wonderful vacation!
Staying at Katherine's DC home was an excellent experience! The home was even better than the listing suggests. Everything was thought through. She sent us all of the needed codes, etc. prior to arriving. The apartment is very luxurious! Everything is finished out with top quality and top of the line technology. My husband said it was the most comfortable mattress he's ever slept on! The location was PERFECT! Very close to cute restaurants & coffee shops, the Capital and a bike station, which we utilized often. If we return to DC, we will DEFINITELY stay at Katherine's again.
About the Host, Kathryn
My husband and I lived in the DC area for many years and moved to Oklahoma full time to raise our children. Our company is based in Washington, DC so we purchased this town home to live in when we come back to DC for work or pleasure -- usually about one visit each month. We love the location and the wonderful restaurants and historical sites that are so close. We want everyone who visits our place to enjoy all the wonder of DC as much as we do.
