Nestled in the heart of Stateline, Nevada, Cottage 2 at Doc’s Cottages offers comfort, charm, and convenience — just steps from the shores of Lake Tahoe and South Shore’s casinos and restaurants. This cozy studio features a comfortable queen-size bed, a full kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, and half-refrigerator, plus a dining area. When snow blankets the mountain, nearby Heavenly offers skiing and snowboarding with breathtaking Lake Tahoe views.
The space
Cottage 2 Single Studio Cottage features a queen bed, dining area, kitchen (Stove, Oven, 1/2 Fridge) and bathroom with tub & shower. Cottage 2 has it's own private deck with outdoor table, umbrella, chairs and a charcoal bbq.
The kitchen has a stove and oven, microwave, mini refridgerator and freezer, toaster, coffee maker, utensils, glassware, wine glasses, coffee mugs, plates and HENCKELS Paradigm 11–pc Cookware Set (Stainless Steel & Non Stick). Set Includes:
1.5-quart saucepan with lid
3-quart saucepan with lid
8-inch fry pan
10-inch fry pan
6-quart stock pot with lid
4-quart sauté pan with helper handle and lid
12-inch fry pan
Cuisinart 12-piece Essential, Durable Stainless-Steel Utensil/Tool Set: Includes one of each: whisk, peeler, can opener, pizza cutter, solid spoon, slotted spoon, solid turner, slotted turner, silicone spatula, ice cream scoop, 12” nylon tongs, and 12” stainless-steel tongs.
Blender is available upon request.
There are also paper towels, kitchen towels, dish soap, sponge, BBQ utensils, BBQ brush & more.
1 Smart TV (Use Internet Streaming Services & Live TV).
Heating and AC: Each unit has a gas wall heater and also an electric fireplace. Air Conditioning is available during summer months.
Bathroom has a shower. You can request addional towels and toiletries at any time by Texting Dave.

Cottage 2 has access to the Common Area by cottages 3, 4 & 5, with BBQs, Fire Pit, Tables, Chairs. Cottage 2 has its own parking space directly in front of the cottage. Cottage 2 also has its own deck and charcoal bbq.

Established in 1929, four of the original cabins (numbers 2, 4, 7, and 8) remain standing—a testament to the enduring craftsmanship and heritage of the area.
In 1932, Vincent “Doc” Hughes, known affectionately as “Doc” for his service as a medic in WWI, acquired the property. What began as a personal haven for family and friends blossomed into Doc’s Place, a welcoming escape that the community still treasures.

Each of the eight unique cottages embraces a cozy, cabin-like aesthetic with hardwood details and inviting spaces. Expect amenities tailored for both relaxation and functionality.
