Sheri was wonderful. She was quickly available by text or email.
The two bedroom bungalow was just down from the beach. The backyard was right on the river, making it a relaxing area, to sit and read. The convenience of a washer and dryer was wonderful.
I will be booking with Sheri again.
Great open floor plan was perfect.
Thanks for a very relaxing time in Surfside.
We had a lovely time in Surfside! The house was a perfect 2 minute (with a three year old) walk to the beach! It was also so nice to have a kitchen and washer and dryer! Sherri was helpful and responded right away to any questions. We would recommend this place to anyone heading to the myrtle beach area!
The house was nice and clean in a great location. It is perfect in size and had a fully stocked kitchen. There where only 3 main issues.
1. The twin futon beds are terrible hard as a rock. No way anyone could sleep on them and the pull out bed in the couch was nothing but springs. We needed up having to buy 2 twin air matures to sleep on.
2. The air conditioner did not really worked. If it wasn't for the ceiling fans in every room, we would not have been able to sleep.
3. There was no grill available for us to use even after Sheri had confirmed that there was. We had stop at the grocery store and bought a lot of food to grill only to discover there wasn't one for us to us. We ended up having to buy one. Overall the house is a good size in a great location, but having to spend money for air beds and grills plus the fact the air conditioner did not really work was really not great.
Sheri was great and very informative about the place! The neighborhood was a very pleasant surprise and I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Myrtle Beach. My boyfriend and I especially loved being so close to the beach and the great cafe nearby.
Sheri's place is a great location--an easy two blocks from the beach. It's also close to grocery stores and restaurants. The sitting area overlooking the pond right behind the house is a nice bonus.
This is a comfortable and convenient place for a couple with a kid or two.
Our family had a fantastic week at Sheri's. This was our first time at Myrtle Beach and we really loved the laid back and relaxing atmosphere. The weather was good and the water was nice and warm.
Our place was just a block away from the beach - a couple of minutes walk. We spent many hours in the water. We bought a canopy to shield us from the sun and a cart to take things from and back to the house. We did not need a golf cart.
We took our dog for walks around the lake behind the house. We even took our dog to the beach a couple of times late in the evening. Nobody complained and she loved it.
Sheri's place was perfect - very self sufficient for our family. The place was clean and well furnished. Everything that we needed was available in the house. I had to catch up with work a little and the wifi worked well.
We would highly recommend it to anyone and will be making a trip back next year.
We really enjoyed staying at Sheri's rental. It was stylishly comfortable in a quiet neighborhood that was very convenient to the beach, shops and restaurants. Her kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to cook meals at home. She has an excellent collection of board games, great electronics and a very nice assortment of books to read, which all came in very handy on the only rainy day we had. I read one of her books cover to cover and learned how to use a coffee press for my coffee. All of my communications with Sheri were very prompt and friendly which made my first experience with Airbnb an excellent one!! Thank you so much Sheri, we dreaded having to leave your cute place but totally plan to be back again soon :)
About the Host, Sheri
My name is Sheri and I share my space with my partner Natalie, our daughter and a few fur-children. Natalie and I split our time between South Carolina and California. Natalie and I do crossfit most days of the week and can recommend some boxes around here if you are interested. Last year we started a vegetable garden which you can see from your kitchen window if you stay with us (tips on growing veggies are always welcome). During the day I work for HP from my home office and at night we enjoy hanging out with friends and eating good food.
