Be our guest in our historic 1850s farmhouse in the foothills of the Adirondacks and Green Mountains. Breakfast is always made with ingredients from our farm and those of our neighbors in our valley.
We also offer a farmstay experience! Wake up early and join us to do chores, like feeding chickens or moving sheep onto new pasture. Or stay in bed, rest and enjoy a relaxing morning watching the sun come up over the hills.
Minutes from Lake George, Saratoga Springs, and Vermont.
The space
Your private space consists of a suite on the first floor, including a main bedroom, side room, and full bathroom. The suite comfortably sleeps two adults in the queen bed, or families of up to four when using the convertible day bed and trundle bed in the adjacent side room. Enjoy a relaxing stay with handmade quilts, in room coffee maker, and a luxurious spa-style shower.
Guests also have access to the rest of the first floor, including the dining area where breakfast is served, wrap-around porch, enclosed outdoor sitting area, and great room with fireplace.
The farm is 138 acres of pastures where we graze our flocks of Katahdin-Dorper sheep and red ranger chickens. Guests are welcome to the explore the 1820's barn, paddocks, creek, and sugar bush. You are especially welcome to pitch in with chores! It is the best way to experience a true farm-to-table experience, as breakfast consists of chicken and lamb sausage, omelets, Dutch Baby pancakes, and other products from our farm or our neighbors in the valley.
(Please note that this is a traditional B&B: your hosting family lives upstairs and the kitchen is not for guest use.)
Other things to note
Please note that our giant livestock guardian dog, Atwood, is very friendly to people but not to pets, which he views as a threat to the sheep. For that reason, we're sorry but we can't accommodate your dogs, cats, or other animals during your stay with us.
