  • I spent some nights at Jaime's place and opted for the self-contained apartment option (there are a couple options). The place is nice, well equipped, comfortable, and the property is beautiful. The horses add to a great country feel. The owners are very friendly and helpful, yet I had total privacy. Highly recommended!

  • Just what we were looking for: a cozy, homey stay where we could relax while exploring the area. The room and house were clean, comfortable, and convenient. It felt like visiting at my mom's house, minus the need to do family things! :) Jaime, Diane, and the rest of the folks at the house were all exceptionally kind and friendly, and made sure we were comfortable. The three little dogs of the house are hilarious, especially the cuddley Max, and I really loved having the rest of the menagerie around (parrot, turtle, horses, etc.) - might not be for everyone, though, so think of going elsewhere if you don't like animals. Given that there was a blizzard the day we arrived, the long driveway wasn't passable, but it was no problem to park on the street and walk up, so don't let that stop you if you want to visit in a heavy winter. All in all, a restful and comfortable weekend.

  • Diane is a welcoming and gracious host! I had the honor of being the first guest to stay in a self-contained apartment in their house (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room). It was spacious, comfortable, and private.

This spot is best for animal lovers, as the family has several dogs and birds inside to greet you as you pass through the house to your room.

  • Hey. Jaime was very responsive and staying with his mom Diane was pretty nice. She's very kind and went above and beyond (offering to pick me up in town, drop me off at the train station, she was also pretty cool with my interest in the two horses!) I will say, as a heads up, this is definitely a family home. I was under the impression it was just Diane and was surprised by how many people were in the home (five total including me.) Everyone was super nice, the house is clean but just as a heads up.

  • I did not actually stay here. I made this reservation for one of my guests who stayed with me and was having technical difficulty while on the road.
Jamie's response was immediate and that made for a wonderful transgression.
I can only say that I look forward to one day staying in both of Jamie's locations. And a guy that helps his mom says it all!
    Go Jamie! Go Mom!

  • Diane was a great host, the farm is lovely, the room was clean and she went out of her way to help me. She's a wonderful host.
Very generous and warm person, I would visit again. Feels like she is a friend, which is a great treat to find.
