Our Modern Loft is the epitome of a romantic getaway for exploring the wonders of the National Park, located just 3 miles away. Cozy up in front of our fireplace and listen to the sounds of the rainforest with the ones you love. Being tucked away, surrounded by nature, will have you feeling at ease in your quite environment.

Built at tree level, our loft greets you with rainforest views and natural light pouring through large windows throughout the newly built custom home with modern comforts.

The space
Enjoy the modern comforts of home in the rainforest, on the edge of the Volcano National Park and just 5 minutes from the Volcano Village. Set on a quiet 1/2 acre backing up to the Forest Reserve, in the back of a very quiet neighborhood, this is perfect place to relax amongst the trees and listen to birds chirp.

Relax in front of our cozy fireplace, and enjoy 25 foot high wooden beam ceilings, whitewashed floors, an open floor plan, and a 10ft sliding glass door that leads to our huge tree-level deck, perfect for sipping your coffee or reading a book.

Sleep cozy in a 3rd floor loft bedroom in a king size bed looking out on the Rainforest. Cook a gourmet meal with local ingredients in a full modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Our place is perfect for couples and honeymooners.

Free Wi-Fi is included in our accommodation. The signal is strong and good for uploading photos/videos or even getting some work done while away from home.

Our full kitchen is equipped with a 6 burner gas stove, dish washer, microwave, coffee maker, and all necessary cooking utensils to create a delicious meal. Blender, toaster, and all baking dishes are also provided.

We also have a brand new washer and dryer for your use as well. Laundry soap is provided for your convenience.

The shower is equipped with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.

Feel free to sit at the desk and write a postcard to a loved one or read a good book about the Kilauea Volcano. We have provided Volcano Books for your use. The post office is in Volcano Village.

Other things to note
There is plenty of fun volcano related activities available to enjoy during your stay.

1/3rd of the National Park remains opened Wednesday-Sunday 9am - 3pm. It is called the Kahuku Unit which has 5 different Hiking trails through the hardened lava flows of the past. All Hikes are under 3 miles ranging from easy to moderate. They have rangers staffed during operating hours to talk story, answer questions, and overall be your guide around the Kahuku Unit. The Kahuku Unit is located on Hwy 11 near Mile Marker 70.5. This is about a 40 minute drive from our house.

Volcano Winery, located 10 minute drive from our home, is open 10am - 5:30pm everyday and offers tastings and information regarding their homemade wine inspired by the Volcano. They have a unique selection of local fruit wines such as yellow gauva, jaboticaba fruit, mango, etc to taste.

Akatsuka Orchid Gardens, located 5 minutes from our home, is open 10am - 4:30pm everyday. This incredible greenhouse shop / garden is definitely worth the stop. It is a 5 dollar donation to enter, or book a $40 guided tour with lunch, and features over 500 different blooming orchids on display in its 13,000 sqft showroom. Although when you think orchid garden you may think…..meh….this is actually a spectacular place to spend an hour while visiting the volcano village.

And of course, the town around our home, Volcano Village is open with a variety of gift shops, art galleries, and restaurants, to enjoy.
