And a cheeky Cocker spaniel they have their own accommodation and do not have access to guest accommodation but if you wish to say hello to them they would be delighted.
We arrived very late due to traffic conditions but Liz was very understanding and welcomed us with tea and biscuits in a lovely sitting room with a log fire. The bedroom was very nicely decorated, as was the shower room and the bed very comfortable indeed. Breakfast was excellent - creamy porridge with a dash of whisky and eggs laid by her hens that morning. Liz was very pleasant and friendly and the whole experience was excellent. Would certainly recommend this b and b to others.
Good accommodation and charming hosts. We were made very welcome and had a couple of hilarious evenings. Good place to base yourself for sightseeing and good value for money
Liz spoilt us incredibly during our memorable four night stay in her home. And the other household members (hubby Roger and pets Buster, Ruby and Harriet) were also very welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Liz's cooked breakfasts were amazing (try the porridge with whiskey) and helped us start the day with loads of energy which we needed for our extensive walks in this beautiful and interesting part of England. Our room and en suite were clean and comfortable, shower hot with great pressure and we even had sole use of a large sitting room with cosy fires set for us each day. Liz and Roger are also fun company when you stay here...don't bother looking to stay elsewhere. We hope to come back one day, from Australia!
Our stay with Liz and Roger was was like a visit with longtime friends. Good conversations and food with clean, conveniently located accommodations and a beautiful garden.

We were Liz's first paying guests and would like to congratulate her for being so organised. The welcome we received was welcoming and informative. The bedroom was very well appointed and the double bed was truly one of the best beds we have ever slept in. The ensuite shower with toilet was immaculate. Clearly a great deal of thought had gone into furnishing this accommodation. Downstairs in the dining room, a trolley was set out with tea making facilities for us to use as and when we wished. There was a wide choice for breakfast. Liz's hospitality was exceptional and we would definitely stay there again if we are going to be in that area. Altogether Liz and her husband Roger are to be congratulated on their hospitality.
