Large and luminous two bedroom apartment, just below the penthouse apartment, with large terrace and great view on the "Castelli Romani" , located in a very safe quiet neighborhood, close to a great supermarket, restaurants and bus stops .Rented to selected guests when Francesco abroad (most of the year) as there is a nice collection of contemporary art and furniture and personal belongings. WI-FI internet access.
The entire apartment and the terrace are at guests disposal.
Interaction with Guests
I live most of the time abroad but I have arranged pickup and welcoming services as well as cleaning.
It is a residential area with no tourists and you can live as the Romans do. Very friendly neighborhood, full of nice shops, markets and restaurants.
Well connected by bus and metro to the historical center. Bus stop at 100 meter. In 25 minutes you are at the Colosseo.
Other Things to Note
I just replaced the double bed in he main bedroom with two single beds (eventually join-able) to accommodate guests who do not want to sleep in the same bed. New pictures will follow.
Guests have to engage to water terrace plants according to seasonal instructions. If they like animals please feed also the turtel doves visiting every day (food provided). Only outside smoking.
Let me start by saying our 7-year old daughter LOVED the apartment. She described the place as magical, which added to the overall experience of Rome. We, the parents, totally agree, ti’s very special. Thank you, Francesco, for everything. We had a wonderful holiday.
Francesco's home was a bit off the beaten path, but once you figure out the bus system, it was easy to find our way around. The apt is near a small grocery store and a few restaurants. His home is on the 5th floor with a beautiful view of the cityscape. We didn't cook much, but if you do, he has pretty much any appliance you will need. The home is decorated very uniquely with his personal art. Overall, was wonderful.
We had a great time at Francescos Apartment. We travelled with two kids and a baby and the place was perfect for us. It is very big and comfortabel and has a beautiful terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything we needed.
The neighborhood is also very nice. You can reach the center of Rome in about 30 Minutes. There is a bus stop nearby that takes you to the metro station from there it is only 4 stops to the center.
In the neighborhood there are wonderful shops like bakerys and a very good ice cream place. There is also a market nearby. We enjoyed it very much not to live in the touristic center of Rome.
Communication with Francesco was perfect and he was very helpful with everything.
We would definitely stay there again!
Thanks a lot!
We had a fantastic journey, and much of it is on behalf of Francesco's hospitality. His apartments are huge and very nice, with lots of modern artwork on the walls. We had a rented car, and we were always lucky enough to find a couple of available parking spots down the lane. Rome in October is incomparable, and we were really happy at Francesco.
Francesco's place was really nice, everything I expected. The only thing that wasn't great about the experience was that the one shower was extremely difficult to figure out how to use. Francesco wasn't there when we arrived as we were greeted by his friend who spoke poor English. That wasn't the best surprise but it all worked out fine.
Extraordinary and interesting design, perfect terrace with flowers and wi-fi included) But not very close to the metro station - about 5-10 minutes by bus. It was the only inconvenience during the stay. We were happy to stay at Francesco apart in Rome!
