Beautiful, clean, spacious studio - and yes, it's exactly like the photos!. It's a little difficult to find but Mk gave detailed instructions and I checked with (website hidden) street view before I arrived so I didn't have any problems. I had to give it 4 stars only because it's not an ideal location. The train stops were a little further than I had anticipated and it's not exactly a friendly neighborhood. Use the car service he lists, there are zero cabs that drive by and you won't be able to hail one. But aside from the location the unit itself was perfection!
The place is really cute, way larger than I thought, a short walk to the metro stop. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen has what you need to make breakfast or a quick meal. The area seems pretty safe even at night, there isn't much around there though. The trains didn't bother us, but traffic can go on until late at night and start early in the morning. Overall it was a good experience.
The apartment was incredible and (website hidden) was very responsive and helpful for instance when my folks didn't know how to use the apple tv. The only complaint I had was the ice out front was pretty bad, though the frequency of snow storms has been terrible.
This is a great little getaway spot! Everything is as it seems in the profile. Anyone looking for a convenient place that has all the necessities and is stylish would do right by staying here. Thanks again!
Good place. Clean, nicely renovated and all you need really. Only complaint the place was very noisy (right next to train track).
We enjoyed our stay at the Jewlbox Studio, the place is great. It has a nice kitchen, TV, internet and it is close to the subway. Everything you would need is there.
Me and my boyfriend spent a week at the Jewelbox Studio. Everything was as stated in the description. It's very cozy studio, the mattress is great, everything was clean, and if you want to cook you'll have everything you need. The only drawback was the noise since the apartment faces a train line. After a few days you get used to it but there are earplugs in case you need them to sleep. All in all, a very good place, recommendable!
I booked this room for a newlywed couple I'm friends with as a surprise mini-honeymoon. IT was great. Everything described and depicted on the site was accurate. And, MK was kind enough to respond to my phone calls when I was unsure about the keys.
The couple had a great first night as husband and wife. Thank you MK!
The place was exactly what the pictures were like. Except no curtain by the bed, which is no matter. The host provided a few basic amenities for us such as shampoo/ conditioner, body wash, and towel. There was also basic kitchenware. Cute little studio apartment! The only complaint is the heater... It doesn't really heat up the whole apartment and it really dries up your throat which you turn it on, but that's what all heaters do. And yes, the train goes by, but it was no matter. Quite lovely actually.
The host made sure everything was ready to go before our arrival which was amazing.
P.S. Oh, and just a heads up there is quite a flight of stairs to walk up in case you can't walk up so many steps.
Mk was very accommodating all the way through (even inviting us to a party downstairs!), and the apartment was perfect for a short stay. We got in late and had to leave early, but the studio was a great place to touch down in for a minute, and very accessible from the airport.
