Welcome home to the Summerhill Island Croft on beautiful Whidbey Island in Lovely Langley by the Sea. Perfect setup for BOATERS AND FISHERMAN! We have secure parking, easy turnaround for boat and trailer. Our rustic log home with a wonderful view of the sound is complete with walking trails, beach access, fruit trees and, of course we don't charge extra fees for you to bring your furry best friend as we trust our guests to keep our place tidy. Quite a deal!

The space
Where relaxation is ripened to perfection in any season. Come kick your feet up and relax on our 2.5 acre piece of paradise. Our rustic log home with a wonderful view of the sound is complete with walking trails, beach access, fruit trees and, of course we don't charge extra fees for you to bring your furry best friend or charge cleaning fees as we trust our guests to keep our place tidy. Quite a deal!

Diving, hiking, fishing, golfing, need we say more? With a bustling calendar of festivals and cultural events each month and several thriving Farmer’s Markets … the possibilities are endless.

Guest access
Guests have covered parking. Sorry, no children or extra guests may stay overnight on the property, no exceptions. Guests have their own driveway to come and go as they please.

During your stay
Interaction with guests.
We enjoy greeting our guests and giving them a brief tour of the property upon arrival. The main house adjoins the B&B with a large covered deck to dine and enjoy the view. Separate entry so we are there to answer questions, etc. but we're far enough away so that our guests have privacy and their own driveway to come and go as they please.

Other things to note
HOUSE RULES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
We are pet & pedal friendly! Bring your bike and furry best friend and we'll give you some great ideas where to hike and bike.
If you plan to bring your pet, please call or write to us prior to making a reservation. It is important to us that your pet is well behaved and socialized as we do have other animals living on the property. We ask that you bring their bedding, bowls, leash, a towel to wipe wet paws and potty bags. Crate when not supervised. Please keep pets off the furniture and keep the property tidy. Please be respectful to our property. A big meadow for you and your best furry friend to frolic! No smoking (of any kind) inside or outside. No extra guests are allowed to stay over night. Sorry, no children are permitted on the property. Pets may never be left alone on property and guests are responsible for picking up after themselves and pets. Pets are not allowed on furniture. We do not charge a cleaning fee, therefore, as a courtesy, we ask that our guests tidy up the cottage and lodge prior to departure.

WIFI yes, TV no (by design). Unplug and unwind. Read a real book or play a non-video game.
Although we have wifi and pay extra for a signal booster to the cabin, we do live on an island and unfortunately it is not 100% reliable 24-7.

Neighborhood highlights

We may be biased but we think our quaint little town of Langley is the coolest, quirkiest, interesting and most laid back place on the island! The town has activities throughout the year. We've got the historic Greenbank Farm with its pie shop cafe, wine tasting, galleries and off-leash hiking trails and the Greenbank Store with its old fashioned grocery store downstairs and a pub and eatery upstairs. The beautiful South Whidbey State park, Meerkerk Gardens is a must. Our neighbors are artists, farmers, gardeners, environmentalists, avid fisherman and crabbers....and the majority of us are fantastic cooks!
