This basic 2-bedroom apartment has an area of approximately 800 square feet and sleeps four people easily (two in the main bedroom on a queen-size bed; one in the small bedroom in a twin-size bed; and 1 in the twin-size bed that opens from the sofa in the living room).
The apartment is basic and is simply furnished, located in one of the typical old buildings of New York that you can see in movies, however it has everything you need and it is clean and safe. Due to the proximity of the next building, there is not much outside light except in the main bedroom which faces the street. It is a quiet and safe building.
The rental is located on the third floor of a pre-war building (2 flights up) in the heart of Manhattan's trendy Chelsea district. The building has no elevator, however there is a security system, and residents enter the building using their own keys. Visitors are admitted through an intercom/code system.
There is a single-size bed in the 1st bedroom (for one person) and a queen-size bed in the main bedroom (that sleeps 2 comfortably). There is a closet and dresser in the main bedroom. There is a big closet in the Hallway. The loveseat in the living room opens into a twin-size bed if needed for a 4th person.
The little living room off of the kitchen has a small sofa, a chair, a TV with cable.
The separate / open kitchen is fully furnished with all the equipment necessary for the preparation of food: a four-ring gas cooker, and a refrigerator with freezer, a microwave, pots and pans. The cupboards provide storage space for the kitchenware.
The bathroom, which is both clean and compact, contains a shower and tub. Bed linens and clean towels are provided.
Laundry facilities are available one block away, on West 15th street.

Other Things to Note
Please make sure to say that you are our friends visiting for a few days if anybody asks anything at the building....Do not mention AIRBNB or RENTAL at all.....This is because there are some issues going on in NYC with these kind of share economies industry!
Your rental is 100% safe and guaranteed....This is just precautions to protect us, the owners!
No smoking in the apartment. You can have friends over but no "crazy" parties...Please be respectful of our neighbors who are permanent residents in the building.
Awesome location with Chelsea Market and the Highline so close. We needed two bedrooms and had ample space for the three of us. Really appreciated Angel's prompt replies to questions beforehand and information and greeting given on arrival.
We used this place for a few of my business associates who were in town. For the price, it is absolutely worth it. It's an older 3 story walk-up but everything is in working order. We fit 3 people in there no problem. Angel was great to work with. We also took advantage of the ground transportation discount. It was flawless as well. Is this place going to blow away your guests? No. But will it be an affordable place to lay your head that is clean? Absolutely. Thanks for everything Angel!
The appartment was exactly as depicted in the pictures, clean and quiet. Angel was very fast at answering our demands and finding solutions. The location is realy ideal, close to everything.
Thanks for the hospitality, the apartment was very clean and well located, thanks for your consideration with my checkout also. I would highly recommend this place or stay again.
This apartment is your typical NY apartment on the third floor. It is in a great location! Close to the Chelsea market for groceries, the Hudson river for exercise, the subway, and all the shopping spots NY has to offer! I went there on a work trip with another girl and it was so nice to have more room & privacy over sharing a hotel room.
There were plenty of towels and linens and the ac worked fine. It was a good find for our work trip. I feel like the value is very good given the prices in NY.
Run down apartment and building. The only positive is that it forced us to go out all the time so we would minimize our time in the flat.. I should have known better before booking. Nothing 'cool' about the 'cool 2 bedroom apt in Chelsea'.
Terrible entry way, broken first door, awful smell in the corridors.
Location by Chelsea market is great.
