I stayed at Andrea's apartment with my adult son and daughter during Christmas. Andrea was extremely helpful and friendly. He met us on arrival and helped with advice on restaurants, tourism and transportation. The location was perfect. The apartment was first floor with the living room and bedroom window overlooking the river and Castello Sant' Angelo. 5 minutes walking to St. Peter's Square, 10 to Vatican Museum and Castello Sant' Angelo and 20 to 30 minutes walking distance from all other major sites. If you don't want to walk, 1 minute from several major bus lines. Right next to good restaurants and grocery stores. It was exactly as promised: spotlessly clean, one bedroom with a double bed and another with two singles, and a comfortable couch bed in the living room. Lots of comfortable living space with a living/dining room and fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with towels and heater. Lots of warm blankets. I would happily stay again. Excellent value as well.
We had a wonderful stay at Andrea's apartment. It was clean, comfortable and very well-located (walking distance from many major attractions and some excellent restaurants). Andrea was very helpful, providing recommendations for places to eat and see, and generally trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We did have difficulties with the hot water, which made showering problematic. However, this would be our only complaint. Otherwise it was a great stay!
The flat is spacious, clean, well equiped and has a modern design, as can be observed in the pictures.
The location is great - close to Vatican City, St. Angelo and Trastevere (lots of restaurants). The city center is within a walking distance, but you can also take the bus - a bus station with a variety of bus lines is right outside the building's door. The down side of it is that street noises are clearly heard inside the flat.
Andrea, the host, was very serious, quick to respond to any question we had and was happy to provide recommendations that turned out to be good. He also arranged for us transportation from the airport and back.
