Susan and Tim made us feel very welcome. They were there to show us where everything was and then after they gave us our privacy and space. The accommodations are as described. In the morning Susan had a lovely fruit plate prepared. Very friendly and kind people.
Susan was incredibly welcoming and helped us to have a great experience. The room was exactly as described, and went out of her way to make us comfortable. Breakfasts were great (excellent muffins, coffee, and watermelon). We would definitely love to return and would recommend to anyone looking for a low-key, good value place to stay.
Susan and Tim could not have been nicer, they were very welcoming and helpful. The location was great for me as I was spending time in Montauk and Amagansett. The room was simple and clean.
Not only are Sue & Tim the best hosts I have ever stayed with (by far), they are also 2 of the loveliest people I have met thus far in my short life. The best way to describe their house is simple - it's home. Their warmth was overwhelming from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The room was exactly what we were looking for. Breakfast was just an added delight!
They are much more than super hosts and we already have our next weekend booked.
My stay with Sue and Tim was great! I needed to be in the area for 8 weeks for an internship and they were so helpful with getting to know the area, recommending places to eat, going to the beach, etc. They were always checking in on me and making sure I was comfortable. I would absolutely stay with them again!
Unfortunately I didn't stay at Susan's home, so this review will be brief. We arrived and Susan and her family were at the house to greet us. They were very cordial, but it wasn't exactly what I had envisioned. The room was very basically furnished, towels were provided, but other than that, the room wasn't much. The closet was desperately in need of some work/cleaning/maintenance. The room was also located right next to their daughter's room, and there was no way to access the room without invading their family living room, which felt a little uncomfortable. The kicker was actually that they had a cat, and I am deathly allergic to cats. Within five minutes of being in the house, I felt my allergies flaring up and I was miserable, so we had to quickly find another overnight option. To be fair, it's my fault that I somehow overlooked that the listing indicated they owned a cat, and for this reason we didn't end up staying at their home and lost our money spent towards this stay.
Jennifer clearly did not understand the AirBnb concept, and it was also clear to us they wanted more of a Party House, which we are not, and our daughter was only visiting because my Dad her Grandfather was Ill.. I have had over 350 guests and really the only guest we had complain about the room, Jennifer needs to stay in a Hotel on her next visit to the Hamptons, she did not mention she left a pair of shoes which I contacted her immediately and left them for her..
We were only there for a short time, BUT Susan and her husband were extremely nice and hospitable! I've had a great nights rest and were allowed to bring our dog!
