Enjoy Tulum in style, luxury and convenience! The jungle loft is furnished with everything you will need to make your Tulum time the best it can be! AC, WiFi, iPod/phone dock, sat TV, pool, full kitchen, living room, jungle views & local guidance.
Tulum Jungle Loft is a fully furnished loft apartment in a newer development only 1/2 mile from downtown Tulum, 3/4 mile from the bus station downtown on the edge of the jungle. We are on the south end of town. The loft is set atop the 3rd floor of a luxury villa and has a spiral staircase up to its private entrance. Sleeping arrangements include 1 queen bed and 1 double futon bed, so it can sleep 1 to 4 people but is ideal for couples or solo travelers.
Some of the amenities include a well equipped gourmet kitchen, air-conditioning, stereo system with iPod sound system, wireless high speed internet access, US satellite TV with plenty of movie channels and a dartboard! There's also a beach bed on the terrace (not shown in pictures) and breakfast nook balcony with a hammock to enjoy the amazing jungle views or just take a siesta.
Then there's the lovely pool in a very quiet common area complete with palapa lounge and bar with a comfortable couch and chairs for chillin by the pool , this really is one of the nicest places to stay in the town of Tulum, especially if you enjoy a few more luxuries and amenities with your accommodations. The sunsets from the loft are breathtaking over the jungle.
We have made our loft a place for living and loving life in Tulum, its not just a vacation rental, you'll find everything you need and more with the details that typically are not offered at other rentals. Please let us know in advance if you have any special requests.

The jungle loft was really sweet! And Ron was super accommodating and friendly. He was very communicative and available to answer all our questions in advance of our stay. Once there, he was very helpful with getting us situated and settled in. The loft has some great amenities (spacious, excellent shower, clean, nice comfy bed, A/C if you need it, kitchen, water, and even TV). It has great views of the jungle and a nice breeze to cool you down from the Tulum heat.
It’s a bit far from the beach (if you plan to commute via bike) but totally fine if you have a car. If you plan to stay in Tulum pueblo, know that from the loft you will be close to the best tacos in town – El Camello. They are best! Thanks Ron for the recommendation. We had an excellent time.
Ron's place was amazing! I really loved the iPhone hook up to the stereo, so we could listen to tunes during our stay. Ron and his wife were super nice and helpful. We highly recommend staying at Ron's loft!
Great place to stay in Tilum
We loved staying at Ron's loft. Nice views and good airflow, perfectly set up for the two of us. Ron was a great host and tolerant of our (limited) gloating over our Seattle Seahawks beating up on his beloved Denver Broncos in the Superbowl, which he and his friends projected on the side of the building for a real big screen tv. Rented bikes nearby to ride to the beach or the ruins of Tulum, great gelato and seafood at the restaurants in Tulum pueblo. Would definitely do it again.

Ron's loft is a truly beautiful place! We loved our stay here.
The loft is located just south of the little town of Tulum. Close enough to take a walk in to town.
The loft is on the third floor (top floor) of Ron's and Catherine's home. There's is a narrow spiral staircase to get to the loft so if you have any issues walking up stairs this place is not for you.
The apartment is really beautiful and has everything you need. There is a nice wrap around deck with different seating arrangements as well as a day bed to chill out on.
The little apartment complex has a beautiful pool and the neighbors that we met were all really nice.
Ron and Catherine were great hosts and gave us lots of tips on food and daily adventures.
We highly recommend this place!!
Thank you Catherine and Ron!
We spent three wonderful days at Ron and Catherine's loft in Tulum. We loved it! They are great hosts and the loft is inviting and really comfortable. We will definitely stat there again when we visit Tulum again.
Ron's loft is awesome and exactly as described (if not better). The place is clean, unique, relaxing and fully equipped. Ron and his wife are extremely welcoming and eager to offer suggestions to help you have a great stay. Hope to return soon!
We are Teri and Alan, in our mid fifties and spent 3 1/2 weeks at the loft on our 25th wedding anniversary to the Yucatan. That's long enough to get through any honeymoon phase and see the warts! And I'm delighted to say, there are no warts. To limit repetition, we can simply validate the great reviews, pictures, and great hosting / customer service by Ron and Catherine. Read those reviews. You will not be making a bad decision to choose this place unless your heart is set on an experience other than Tulum. The rest is just a bit of our story. I have 500 words . . . this dominates (website hidden)!
We used the loft as a base, making lots of day trips out to the beach zone, various ruins, cenotes, and endless attractions the area has to offer. Our travel style is we like our mainstay experience to be off the big resort / tourist zone grid. Tulum fit that perfectly. We loved the pace, uncrowded beaches (off season), food, and locals. Some evenings were at the beach, others walking the main and back streets of Tulum and taking in food, local evening sports, and the benefits of a healthy sweat in the tropics! We were often torn between the endless great eating out options and picking up fabulous fresh fruit, veggies, and fresh juices at the Mayan market stall (just a few minutes walk) to create our own yum. Mangoes equaled those I had when living in Indonesia, and that is a TALL bar! We found relaxing at the loft with wifi and books, refreshing ourselves in the pool, and naps (how sweet it is) a great interim experience between our outings.
During our stay we took a couple nights and stayed at a pricey beach boutique hotel room on our anniversary (3 times the per night cost of the Loft) and took a two night side trip to Play Del Carmen for "Night Life" (Wow, I guess we've aged in those 25 years). Both were a nice change of pace and both times we returned to the loft feeling like we were coming home.
So you know this is a great place to stay if you are considering Tulum. OK - here's the DIRT! What happens when there's a hiccup? Because of our lengthy stay, our reservation bridged another 2 night reservation that (happily) coincided with our anniversary dates. No problem - we headed to the beach. The short stay guests were so happy with the place, they wanted to stay an extra night. True to form, Ron and Catherine did not want to disappoint. They put us up in a full house in the same complex (allowed us to do some much needed laundry) to make it good. Everyone was happy and they took the hit on the added expense to share their Tulum life philosophy. Thank you Ron & Catherine! We'll be back. (7 words left!)
It was super good. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures and more. The apt was very well equipped, from sound system to dvd player, blender, mixer pots and pans - everything you could wish for. Ron was really nice. He even drove us the last day to a spot where we could rent a car. He was very helpful during our stay and communication with him in advance was easy, efficient and nice. It was a real treat. Thank You for that !
Ron and his wife are amazing! The Loft is fully loaded with all thinkable amenities in the kitchen and in general...you can tell that these are hospitality pro's...the location is just outside Tulum centre. We had rented a car and had no trouble get to all the major sightseeing stuff. The pool is beautiful and we used the kitchen extensively because Tulum can get a bit pricey if you eat out 3 times a day....definitely recommendable and would stay there again!! xxx
