we had a very nice stay at this beautiful stone house overlooking the bay.Pat and Theresa are wonderful hosts, and are on hand just across from the house. They are very helpful with local information and whats happenning in the area. While we were there Francis Black was playing in the nearby Allihies community hall and they told us where to get tickets for the concert and indeed Teresa and her daughter Sinead took us to the concert and brought us home again. This was the highlight of our stay. The house has everything you need and pat can always be seen outside working on his farm should you need any advice. Pat grows all his own organic vegetables and one day we came home from a hike on the Bearra Way and he had left a present of his veg which we cooked up for dinner. His potatoes are to die for! The nearby Eyeries village has everything you would need except an atm, but if you are a Allied Irish bank customer you can get money out in the post office. I would stay here again
